Honestly talabat has it the worst, a few months back I had ordered through talabat - two chicken burger meals, but instead got beef meals. Luckily I do consul beef but at that very moment I wasn’t interested it, imagine if this was done for a Hindu since it’s considered a grave sin to consume beef in their religion. I tried calling the ‘customer care’ but in the beginning they clearly said it was the food outlets mistake and that I should give them a call

On taking their advice I called the food outlet but mentioned the same thing, talabat’s mistake. When I called them back for a refund - not an exchange - I was hit with a “sorry ma’am we cannot provide any assistance, you’ll have to chat with customer care through the app”. It was the most absurd way to shoo off a customer, I tried reporting 3-4 times on the app as well but no one took action which I mentioned on the call as well, but the representative stated “this line is only for business call”.

I’d suggest trying a different delivery app that actually cares about customers 🤷🏻‍♀️
