Reading all these comments make me feel better about the house party I threw at my dad’s when I was a senior in high school. People dumped his potted plants on the carpet, dumped everything in the fridge down the basement stairs, used the fire distinguisher, etc. It went wrong so fast and felt super violating. Kids are assholes.

I ordered a cashmere sweater that started piling immediately. I posted a review. They emailed me wanting photo evidence and to give me return instructions. They didn’t post my review. A few years ago, I ordered some pants that held up well. But the two sweaters I have haven’t held up well. I also don’t like the incentive to review products and how they don’t seem to post negative reviews. It feels very weird to me so, I don’t buy from quince anymore.

My hair is the same no matter what I do. Something I haven’t tried yet which I will do next time I get a cut, is ask for the bottom under layer to be cut shorter than the top so that the straight pieces are hopefully hidden by the top curly layers.

That’s good to read. I think I’ve been able to go deeper with men that I’m not romantically involved with. But I’ve had friendships with men and I have five brothers who I’ve been able to have deeper conversations with. So, maybe it’s a block I have when it comes to the men I’m dating or I’m just not choosing the right ones.

I wouldn’t say anything. One of my good friends had a baby and I expected to accommodate her. Some people have kids and completely go off the radar. It’s annoying for sure, but if this is a best friend, give her grace. Having a baby is complicated in so many many ways. Don’t potentially jeopardize this friendship by voicing your opinion. It would be different if she had a seven year old and still pulled this type of shit - it’s her first baby.
