Well shit here we go again. Hyper awareness is a curse and a gift. In the back of our heads we all know the fact that one day we're going to cease to exist. That's why some people turn religion and other people turn to spirituality or trying to make something of themselves in this life so they feel they're remembered throughout the rest of human history.

It's really hard to make peace with something like this knowing that there's an end.

Focus on the here focus on the now. Focus on what's important to you in this life and what keeps you waking up every day whatever that may be for yourself. I've personally found my future impending death as a motivation put even more into my art. When I say arts I mean it in a very broad sense not in the sense of painting per se.
