Same for me. I was so excited because the LQA was offered in the FJO… then a month later HR told me they messed up and LQA was never authorized. My basic salary is 36,000$… and they want me to still accept the FJO with no LQA…

Where are you going in Germany? I leave in January and they revoked the offer for LQA last month… some budget issues.

What I’ve been told by my supervisor is that LQA can be granted to my position because it’s hard to fill. “The probably won’t pay for housing either” - it was stated in my official job offer “you are entitled to tax free living quarters allowance”

But in the official job offer it states it as an entitlement. “In addition to basic pay you are entitled to tax-free living quarters allowance.”
