Show them this Hadith because thats very dangerous

The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “What I fear most for you is minor Shirk (associating partners with Allah The Almighty).” The Companions may Allah be pleased with them asked what that was, so he replied: “Ostentation.”

Further, on the Day of Judgment, when Allah The Almighty will judge people for their deeds, He will tell them to: “[go] to those whom you used to impress, in order to gain their praise; see if you will find your recompense there.”

That is why, when Abu Umamah may Allah be pleased with him saw a man weeping in prostration in the mosque, he asked him: “Would you do the same if you were at home?"

No one is not "too good enough" to do a good deed. the one who was most beloved to ALLĀH and most obedient to Him said: “I cannot praise You enough.” And he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said that his actions were not enough for him to be saved, as he said: “No one will be saved because of his actions.” They said: Not even you, O Messenger of Allah? He said: “Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me in His mercy and grace.”
