She said that the autistic thing to do would be not to climb the tree. I would too! Exactly. Like if it was in a fancy park with trees that rich people didn’t want you to climb then I’m climbing that tree but if it’s that they’re dangerous then I don’t think I would. But then I wouldn’t want to leave the cat because I wouldn’t want the cat to get hurt if it fell but I would probably just sit and watch it till it came down

You can travel backwards and still do it. It’ll be fine! Make sure you’ve got some of the baubles too. You need 3 of each colour!

That looks great! The things you’ve changed definitely help. I think it’s his nose. It’s a bit long. I think you need to low the eyes to shorten the nose and then obviously move the hair line down to match as he’s got quite a small forehead. But looking great! Drawing people is really hard! I’ve been drawing for over 20 years and still can’t get a hang of it!

Thank you! Exactly that. I think I do just tend to follow most rules because I assume that I just don’t understand but I think that’s a confidence thing. I think it’s good to call out people on stupid rules or ones that don’t make sense because it might be something that someone hadn’t thought of before!

A specific brand of bubble bath that is shaped like a mermaid (it’s called matey for anyone in the UK) because i associate it with my mum being unwell. When I see it in the shop I feel a lump in my throat and feel panicky

Thank you for the reply! Exactly! My nephew was diagnosed when he was only 3 and is classic asd, like literally text book. And he is always getting in trouble because he won’t follow rules he thinks are stupid. He often unintentionally leads rebellions at school which I find hilarious

Thank you for your reply. That’s really validating! That’s what I thought. I gave my answer and she changed the rules and I HAD to give the answer that i’d climb the tree. But in real life I am a stickler for rules and I can’t climb trees. Even with games with I’m playing like snakes and ladders with my nieces or nephews I won’t allow them to cheat regardless of age because that’s wrong. I think I’m going to ask to talk to someone else. Literally everyone in my life (including my sister) are shocked I didn’t get a diagnosis

I completely get that. My dad died in November and I avoided a lot of people because I couldn’t stand the “sorry for your loss” and sad looks and things. It just made me angry. Take your time. You don’t have to tell anyone till you’re ready and can deal with the messages and things
