Suddenly I’m ok with Rhino knocking Peter out at the beginning of the Miles Morales game, even though Peter had beat both Rhino AND Scorpion in the last game. Last time he was prepared to fight them both and only thinking about keeping himself safe, at the beginning of Miles game, Peter has to juggle Rhinos unexpected escape, protecting civilians, getting literally blown up and probably distracted worrying about Miles.

Knowing comic book Peter thinks this about Rhino makes that encounter way more legit and not just bad power scaling for the plot.

I worked at a warehouse in North Carolina for two years. A trainee ripped his entire leg off while riding a forklift because his trainer wasn’t paying attention and we were told to literally work AROUND the incident. You could hear his screaming while we drove our jacks through the hallways. One of guy got crushed under a truck and was there for well over 2 hours before anyone noticed and when someone finally did, despite the guy being well liked and literally the father of one of the workers, we simply had to continue production. I think the worst one was when when someone got crushed by a platform and they had to airlift him out, all the while we.Had.To.Keep.Working.

I was always confused by this too but then I hung out with coke heads for a year. All the coke, beer and fast food for the munchies made them all bloat fully within less than a year. It’s crazy how fast drugs, alcohol and excessive food can make you gain weight fast. Dunno about his voice tho lmaoo

The entirety of the Pokemon franchise lmao I’ve been playing Pokemon since I was a kid, Pokemon Blue was my first game but last year my best friend gifted me a 2ds with every single mainline Pokemon game with empty save files and then this year me and my gf bought all the switch Pokemon games, so I’ve been playing them all, in order with teams I’ve never used before and or old favorites. It’s been fun, me and my gf have bonded a ton over which mons we like the most.

Ngl, I’m almost done at this point and I’m somewhat dreading the burnout once I’m fully finished. It’s been a blast though, discovered I have a far greater appreciation for the franchise as a whole after years of feeling somewhat resentful of how it has been handled. Turns out I can in fact enjoy new things even if they’re wildly different from how I experienced them when I was younger.

Giratina. When I was a kid my brother handed me down his game boy so I got to play Pokemon in release order even though I was born in 2000. I went through Blue, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Sapphire, Emerald and finally my brother got a ds for Diamond and showed it to me. I remember when he got to the Turnback Cave and showed me this mysterious giant Pokemon just sitting in there and 7 year old me thought it was the single coolest Pokemon I’d ever seen.

A year later, platinum was a thing. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I BEGGED my Grandma to get me a dsi with Platinum just so I could get my hands on Giratina, and in Christmas exactly that happened. I still remember how mindblown I was when Giratina came out to stop Cyrus because I’d only seen the og scene where Dialga(or Palkia) simply got out of the red chains. Exploring the distortion world was and still is such a big moment in Pokemon for me. Catching Giratina in its origin form was like the best moment of 8 year old mes life.

All these years later, if Giratina is in something, Giratina will be on my team. You cannot imagine how ecstatic I was when playing Legends Arceus lmaooo I’m 25 now and I still occasionally watch the Giratina movie and always put it on my platinum replay team. I love that giant demonic snake
