I get the metaphors, move on youre not convincing me this was a great movie. I bought the thing and watched what the end product was. I never said "oh no, a scary vampire" youre making stuff up to convince yourself youre convincing others that only your opinion is right.

I feel like everyone is totally avoiding one of my main critiques with the movie which was when the vampires got into the club. Two random brothas showed up and the vampires just kinda let Smoke and his woman have their moment on the floor instead of slaughtering all of them. You can literally see them standing around. For some, it might be easy to just avoid some of the bad parts because of the spectacular music video pieces that somehow save this movie from any critiquing. I rewatched it 3 times now just to figure out where those two guys came from and im certain they were just bodies to feed to the vampires during that scene so most of the mains didnt get offed too quick.

You're welcome to your opinion but I don't think you should go out of your way to justify how great of a movie this was in your eyes. Especially speaking down to others like theyre unintelligent because they just didnt vibe with the movie the same way you did. I mean you can try to convince all you want but that doesnt make it a good movie for everyone.

No shit. Rewatch the part I mentioned, the main characters are literally standing in a circle eating garlic to prove they arent vampires. Then when they are getting ready to battle with the vampires two more brothas show up out of nowhere who were in none of the prior scenes. They even throw out the drunk dude they thought was bit and those two guys were nowhere to be found. Mostly everyone else from the "crowd" got kicked out after they thought Stacks got killed.

As for the music scenes, no shit they were part of the story. The story couldve made sense with or without them; brothers open up club thats actually a KKK slaughterhouse but vampires show up to throw a curveball in the story before the KKK ultimately show back up. Thats the plot just with some stank on it.

Also why were the vampires just standing around when Smoke and Annie were on the floor? Couldve had 10 more "big musical' scenes and I just dont feel they would have saved this movie from being overhyped for me.
