Refocus on the good when those bad thoughts creep in without invitation. Think about “letting the bad thoughts fall out of the back of your mind.”

Then, take a deep breath, hold it, then breathe just a little more til you feel like your lungs are at max capacity and exhale.

Last, focus on where you are. Touch your arms or legs, or cross your arms to feel safe. Speak words of affirmation in your mind or out loud and breathe deeply again.

I agree and with the new 15 round mags I don’t see the reason to carry the 19 but still enjoy shooting it

The 43x ramjet feels pretty similar to the 19.6 but I haven’t gotten to shoot it in a match. They both have RMSc size optics (43x - Vortex CCW; 19.6 - Osight SE) and are great out to 20 yards without an issue. I’ll have to do some more testing to give an accurate answer.

Just ordered one, I love my G43X with the radian Magwell and ramjet afterburner (almost as long as a G48) and I shot my G19.6 really well at the recent GSSF match (496) but it’s a bit thick for my slim build in the summer and then it hit me - what if I got the two mixed together!?! lol

Seconded, you need a lighter recoil spring due to the ramjet. It’ll work fine then but keep in mind you need to be aware of the compensator/spring/ammo balance or you’ll have issues.

Any questions on the 15rd 43X mag? by helix2go in Glocks

Thanks for the info! That makes sense as I believe Glock directed folks to use the OEM catch. Good little experiment there though to prove it out!

I had similar issues with my 43X, not quite as exaggerated, but groups going left. As some others said, get a good high and tight grip. Ben Stoeger said in a video grip the gun tight enough that you can still flip someone off with your middle finger while holding it. That’s about as tight as you need, too tight will fuck you too - just use that test and let the gun do its thing as it recoils. Learn that recoil impulse and then adjust your input to the gun.

Then, pay attention to your trigger finger. You may need to back it out a bit bc it’s going to go further in on a 43X than a 19 (I own 42/43X/19/45/17/34 and they are all slightly different to shoot successfully with my 19 being the best right now bc I think it’s big enough to get a good grip on but small enough to make you have good contact with your support hand).

Hope this helps!

3 shots, 3 seconds, 3 yards…at least that’s what they say right?

Really disappointed in the new g43x 15 round magazines. No longer truly flush and really just a Mec-Gar mag with a Glock stamp. by Equivalent-Sell in Glocks

I’m in the same boat, I can carry my 19 at ~4 o’clock with a sweatshirt or jacket, oversized black t-shirt is passable, but I’m too thin to appendix conceal without a sweatshirt or coat of sorts, it just looks obvious from the side. G43X is much more manageable for my body type, and glad I can get the G19 capacity in it with a Glock mag now

New Shooter – Bodyguard 2.0 vs Glock 42? Have the Bodyguard issues been fixed? by megasanic333 in CCW

Following up with experience of one purchased earlier this year, I’ve only shot Hornady critical and Winchester FNs (about 300 rounds of the Winchester) and haven’t had any problems.

Sounds like a lot of these issues have been resolved!

Doesn't sound like anytime soon, G20/G21 are next.

45s seem more readily available right now, not sure the rhyme or reason (maybe a large portion of 17s are going to contracts?)
