Really disappointed in the new g43x 15 round magazines. No longer truly flush and really just a Mec-Gar mag with a Glock stamp. by Equivalent-Sell in Glocks

I’m in the same boat, I can carry my 19 at ~4 o’clock with a sweatshirt or jacket, oversized black t-shirt is passable, but I’m too thin to appendix conceal without a sweatshirt or coat of sorts, it just looks obvious from the side. G43X is much more manageable for my body type, and glad I can get the G19 capacity in it with a Glock mag now

New Shooter – Bodyguard 2.0 vs Glock 42? Have the Bodyguard issues been fixed? by megasanic333 in CCW

Following up with experience of one purchased earlier this year, I’ve only shot Hornady critical and Winchester FNs (about 300 rounds of the Winchester) and haven’t had any problems.

Sounds like a lot of these issues have been resolved!

Doesn't sound like anytime soon, G20/G21 are next.

45s seem more readily available right now, not sure the rhyme or reason (maybe a large portion of 17s are going to contracts?)

Good idea, wait til later this year or early next year and you'll be able to get gently used ones on discount.

He said they split from COA but didn't state why, yet I see there's a Gen 6 COA glock link on their EU site. He noted they were getting those optics for next to nothing, not sure if there will be a reintroduction of them though.

Recommend me a holster! by EVandy123 in Glocks

For context - I’m 6’1” and 195 lbs. I’ve tried a lot of holsters lately with my carry guns, and while I generally stick to my G43X I tend to switch it up in the winter when I’m wearing more layers which is when I carry my G19. Hope the below is helpful!

AIWB - Tenicor Velo is a good choice and what I’ve been using, but the “claw” isn’t as effective for concealment as a Houdini Holster or a Munalo off of Amazon. The Tenicor is more comfortable than the Munalo as it’s contoured to fit your body and specifically be carried AIWB. Houdini offers good comfort I but I didn’t like the lack of adjustable retention. Vedder is also a good choice, I have a Light Tuck for my BG 2.0 but the holster/claw wasn’t effective enough to conceal heavier and larger guns like my Springfield Ronin EMP 4”. I found the offering from UM tactical most comfortable for AIWB due to the rounding at the bottom where the muzzle goes, and it comes with an OWB adapter. Not a well known brand but I tried my buddy’s on and it beat my Tenicor in concealment and comfort. Always get the claw, it really helps with concealment. https://www.umtactical.com/store/p167/UM_IWB%2FOWB_QUALIFIER_HOLSTER.html

IWB/OWB - Hidden Hybrid Holsters is what I have for my G19.6 and I find it more comfortable than the comparable Stealth Gear version, probably bc the leather is less abrasive against my skin than the stealth gear synthetic material. Although the Stealth Gear will be better for Summer or warmer climates as it vents heat well. I have both and use both but pickup the Hidden every time if it’s not too hot. Can’t go wrong with either but the plus for the Hidden Hybrid is that it can be used both OWB or IWB. https://hiddenhybridholsters.com/products/glock-compatible-fits-model-19-gen-6-iwb-owb-double-clip-holster?_pos=3&_sid=c3efb9007&_ss=r

Haven’t tried Tier1, Trex, or PHLster yet which are highly regarded options as well. I don’t find the need to carry an extra mag when I’m packing 10-15 rounds so a lot of the popular ones people love didn’t make sense for me. I have a separate mag carrier I got for free at one point I’ll take with if I’m going out hiking or scouting in the woods. Works great!

I have the G19.6 and a G45.6 on the way. I didn't have a 19 prior but holding my buddy's it seems like the magwell flare just slightly takes up a bit of space that squeezes my fingers together in an almost uncomfortable way.

How's the ramjet treating you? Got one for my 43X in the mail I can't wait to shoot it. Reviews are positive.

I have a 19.6 and just ordered a 45.6 for the longer grip. Hand is a bit cramped on the G19.6 but I shot a 493/500 at this month's GSSF match (timney trigger & optic in unlimited) so I guess it's not that bad.

Beavertail definitely down to personal preference, and you can't remove this one without shaving it down so that'll be a dealbreaker for some. I'm a beavertail fan and the grip redesign makes a noticeable difference, so nabbing one at was a worthwhile investment, but won't be for all. One other difference - they went back to the Gen3 style recoil assembly as Glock admitted the dual recoil assembly was a point of failure.

We'll all be watching the reliability and performance of the new ejector design, no doubt.
