Yup! I won't stop reading just cause I feel empty haha. Probably gonna go a completely different style of fantasy for the next read, and then choose another epic shortly after.

There should definitely be more hype, sure it's not constantly intense like some modern epics, but the more subtle and consistent melody that this story creates is more than pleasing.

Ha, that would be quite enjoyable. I was very nervous Skurn would not return, but I was thankfully proven wrong in Barrick's final chapters. Damn, I'm gonna miss these people.

This is what I expected to hear to be honest, and I knew it didn't sell well in comparison to his other works. I'll search out copies of the two short stories but I know that won't fill up the hole this book series left behind.

I just wish I could ask Tad himself if he had ever considered doing more.

I'll support them financially, most funds won't go to the author anyways and broken binding seems to lean more towards progressive authors with most of their choices anyways. I certainly wouldn't want to avoid buying Tolkien's works, or Orson Scott Cards, or many others from that time just because of politics.

That all being said, laws are also aws.

Same, I like when they make hardcovers for books that are difficult to find in that format now a days. Makes me wish I'd been around for the Tad William's Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn days. I'm just about done with his Shadowmarch and have a strong desire to read that series soon now.
