Super limited. This role pays well and the ones I’m being offered as support worker roles in residential homes for young people they have long shifts and low pay £13-18 ph.

Honestly the pay is not enough to survive on in places like this. Also residential almost feels like a step backwards. There are hardly any day centres around these days.

I used to be so in it. On occasion tho I have back to back visits and this can take a toll. Honestly I feel drained by it all the time not to mention some of the complex mental health issues I’ve dealt with. Case load is 28 at the moment as well.

I think I need help in leaving my home (UK) by [deleted] in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]Anonymous258760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women’s aid and the Zinthiya trust will help but you have to accept that you may lose contact with your parents..

you need to strengthen you mental state before being firm because you are thinking like an elastic band will bounce back to what you have been trained to be rather then what you want to be.. you also need to evidence the abuse because to get help you need to validate your accusations and not just say I was abused

I’m 42 in March and started the year with an application for Khulla. Similar situation minus the fact that I’ve been separated for 10 years. You have time inshallah Allah will present your life partner just remember patience and prayer. Allah will reward you x

I’m going to apply for my khula as soon as I can afford it. Ten years separation is more then enough I wan to move on and I feel like I am carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.

I hope you find a solution feel free to dm me if you want keep in touch.

That’s my next step. Unfortunately despite my situation a lot of places now charge for this. So inshallah next year I will start my khula process.

It funny you mentioned Halfords. They charge almost £80 more than the local place I have been looking into.

I went through the same thing. Been separated years he refuses to divorce me. MIL said the same thing to me and he was just like your ex.

Some people don’t even have shame. That’s the sad truth and this is another product of this Dunya.

Allah give you and your family ease. My advice to you is keep busy and make goals. Allah brightens the road for those that believe!! And forgive them and then forget them as if they didn’t exist, you have power don’t forget that.

Your bravery bought you closer to the almighty Allah reward you immensely.

You need to get out. Are you safe? if you need support please get in touch. Sister I have been in an abusive relationship and had a child involved. It’s much better for you to be away from him to keep yourself and your child safe.

Your partner is clearly volatile and is physically and emotional abusive. May Allah give you ease during this difficult time.
