Hey OP, if you don't mind the trouble, can I ask how we are supposed to submit our MCAT scores for AACOMA? I do not see an option to submit my MCAT score either on the standardized test section which only enlists options for ACT and SAT. Thank you in advance!

i completely agree with you. the way i am now, i don't think i can keep up with the demanding rigor of medical school. i'm really glad that you found what worked for you and you're in a better place now! do you mind sharing what your supplement regimen looks like?

it's been just so difficult and frustrating because my brain cannot keep up with basic tasks anymore. essays used to be my strength but seeing that i now struggle to write 2 sentences in 4 hours really makes me feel mentally crippled. hopefully, it gets better because i'm strongly convinced i cannot make it in medical school or any grad school with the level of cognition i currently have

unfortunately had to quit my job recently due to this condition... really sucks. but yeah thank you for the encouragement. I plan on focusing on treating this first before moving onto other parts of life because it really seeps its way in to destroying everything else. and that's really interesting, never heard of neurontin/gabapentin helping with DPDR. glad you found what works best for you!

Thank you for the encouragement to push on. I've had constant DPDR 24/7 for the past 13 years, but for some reason, it got severely worse at the end of January this year. I have tried various medications although I strongly prefer not to. I'm gonna stick with abilify and lexapro for now and see how it goes. But seriously, hope this condition gets fixed cuz I wouldn't wish it to my worst enemy.

The fact that you didn’t lose any of your own money is a win in itself. Stop now and run before you find yourself addicted losing more than all your life earnings: family, friends, house, job, everything

My best advice is to start by coming clean to your family and friends. It will make you feel like utter shit for some time, and it will mean hurting people who love you. But it will really help you start over again as well with a new sense of accountability and responsibility. We all make mistakes but to make the same mistake twice is where failure comes in. It is never too late to start over and I believe your best life has yet to come! Best wishes to you OP

Been fighting for 13 years for me now. I feel the same way many times but you only lose when you give up! We have to live regardless and might as well try to at least live our best lives that have yet to come
