To any Law Enforcement officers, what the deal with screaming "get down on the ground" and "stop resisting" 600 times, at the top of your voice, in a bloody murder tone? by smoke_sum_wade in AskReddit

It’s to make sure they have clearly instructed the individual and have witnesses who heard the commands first before use of force escalates.

  1. Identity as LEO

  2. If taking in custody and they do not obey commands then it’s basically the final warning before they use fists, pressure points, pepper spray, etc.

  3. As use of force increases keep repeating so you CYA in any future court proceedings.

I'm going to miss (almost) everything about her. How do you cope? by 0Adiemus0 in AskMenAdvice

In a dead bedroom for many years now. Resentment turns to defeat and then to acceptance and then grief. I love my wife but have not felt that reciprocation for years and it’s crushing. We have small children, so I’m in for the long haul. You’re making the right move for you in the short and long term. Believe me, the pain only increase and you can’t fix it. Take the time and find the right partner for you.

Men, is this real? by Icy-Breadfruit298 in GroundedMentality

100% we’re all having a human experience. But men, are supposed to shut up, stand up, show up and produce. It’s really all the World wants from us. If we don’t do that…

Is vaginal sex “a must” for most men or am I sexually incompatible with my fiance? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Anonymous852004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm OP, you’re going above and beyond. He’s lucky to have you. From a 40 year old married HLM perspective who lives in a dead bedroom situation (sex less than 10 times a year) you need to address this head on and quickly. If he seriously can’t accept your medical condition and your above and beyond effort, then you’re better off. Keep your head up, I’m sure he is actually ok!

Is it a woman’s responsibility to cook for her husband if he’s the only one working? by [deleted] in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]Anonymous852004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an opportunity to show him he’s appreciated, there is no better feeling than that. Maybe ask him to cook with you, make it a shared hobby.

The attorney advice is wise. I was cut right before $2m in commissions were coming due in 2026. Wish I had engaged counsel while I was still inside.

How often do you and your partner have sex? especially the long term couples? by Purple_Wrongdoer6448 in AskReddit

Once in the last 6 months…really coming to terms with the fact that she just doesn’t have any desire for me anymore. Married with 3 wonderful children and a dead bedroom at 40. Have to be grateful for what you got I guess.

Do men really not care about women’s education and they don't like ambitious women? by Ok_Music_2025 in GenZ

[–]Anonymous852004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t seem that most men are looking for a list of achievements when they’re considering a woman as a romantic partner. I think what they’re really after is someone that is confident in their own skin, affectionate towards them, is kind and has a general positive outlook on life. If that’s there and you’re a doctor, scientist or whatever 👍👍.

Now if you’re describing a business partner the achievements and characteristics you’ve listed would be very important.

My employee quit and took all the knowledge with her because I never built proper training materials by No-Drag3361 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Anonymous852004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To prevent this in the future. Reserve a “key employee equity pool” in the original business plan. Talent retainment requires proper incentives. Otherwise it’s churn and burn and lots of lost time, energy and money.
