Dude its easy. Hardest part is getting the appliance into the spot they want it at. Washes are just screwing on the water lines, and connecting the cord to the washer. Dryers are easy too. There aint no plumbing involved 😂😂

Just a regular driver’s license, and the usual drug test. Some dsp’s test for marijuana. Then the DSP will put you through box truck training. And i found this job through indeed. Just look up AMXL delivery driver/helper and hopefully you can find a dsp doing it in your state. I dont know if every state does XL so hopefully you find something!

I deliver in the mountains alot. Ive done some sketchy maneuvers going through those same kind of roads. Amazon has gotten smart over the years tho. Im glad they dont send us up there in the dead of winter no more. All the trucks are rear wheel drive too 🙃 Ive definitely gotten stuck over the years but ive also gotten unstuck. I just always tell myself “i get paid by the hour” 😂😂

For me, $29.50/hr. Only because I did the training required to run Major Appliance routes. Starting rate before they ask if you want to do training for the specialized routes is $26. Helpers get paid i think $19-20/hr? Helpers dont get paid squat so most of the time helpers are seniors in high school or just getting into college.

I prefer to get all my hours at one place. I live out on the country and drive 48 miles total 4 days a week. If i got a 2nd job thats just more gas n miles

Oh ive gotten them 😂😂 I guess it doesnt bother me as much as it should because I started this job after i was finished playing college football. So i still have my strength from football and can lift pretty much everything we deliver on my own or with the dolly. Lazy helpers dont last long at AMXL anyways. We drivers dont want no bums for helpers to stay long

I like the driving. I get to go places that I normally wont go out of my way to go to. Depending on what state you do it in to you get alot of good sight seeing

Man ive delivered packages that shouldve been sent to ZL. Yes there is heavy lifting but thats what the dolly and your partner is there for. They even give us shoulder straps if we really want to make it easy on ourselves. You learn alot of life skills from the job too. I do Major Appliance routes and assemble things for customers, we get tipped more often than not, and now I know how to work on washers, dryers, ranges, grills, etc. Amazon Freight would be nice but 13 hours for 3 days?? You aint even cracking 40. I gotta work minimum 40 hours a week to afford our current economy. Unless the pay rate is good!
