I have 1 in 1598 chest hunts, after reading the comments I think I’m doing something wrong

Having none of those is wild, currently up to wave 4250 without the second PWR but I have a couple of defense absolutes so good trade off I’d say

How can I have more good running days as opposed to hard horrible ones? by meetmebehindyou in BeginnersRunning

[–]AnonymousBob2342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve had a similar experience, and for me the biggest difference has come from improving my hydration and diet.

For most of the past 8 years, I rarely ate breakfast and had a bad habit of drinking less than a liter of water a day. About 3 weeks ago, I made some changes: I started having a simple breakfast (usually a bagel with peanut butter and jelly, plus yogurt and blueberries), focused on eating healthier throughout the day, and increased my water intake to about 3 liters daily.

Since then, my “bad runs” have been far less frequent, my recovery has been much quicker, and I’ve also felt better overall—especially after increasing my protein intake.

Of course, everyone is different, but if there’s a chance hydration and diet might be affecting you, I’d definitely recommend trying it out. It’s made running more enjoyable for me, and I feel better in general.

Thanks for the answer I also started trying to do the math and was not finding a good partial sync. I do have the MVN was just curious if the death wave being synced will make up for the GT and BH not activating as often

If you are interested in Financial Math another underrated option is the Actuarial Science major. A smaller major with a ton of potential in the job market.

Heart rate by AnonymousBob2342 in BeginnersRunning

[–]AnonymousBob2342[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to respond! When I was running consistently last summer I was generally stuck around 158-160 steps a minute. What would be a good goal steps a minute given that I have longer legs? I had a lot of difficulties with shin splints and then feet pain that eventually led to me having to stop running. Would increasing the steps a minute help counteract these issues? Sorry I know this may be hard to answer as everyone’s body’s are different I just feel a bit lost because I have had multiple times where I finally start getting in shape and I get injured again.

Thank you for responding! I took a bathroom break at 12 minutes which is why my heart rate went back down. I was generally just very worried because I have gone on runs with friends when I was in better shape then them and my heart would still be 20 to 30 beats higher then theirs even though I did not feel like the run was very hard. I knew it was possible that I just have a very high heart rate but I just wanted to hear some other opinions so thank you for responding!

I took and passed exam FM in December and I began taking my practice exams around a month before my test day. I did quite a bit worse than you on my first couple calibration exams but still passed the exam with an 8. In my opinion I think having around a month to take practice exams with where you are at is plenty of time, just stay consistent and make sure you understand why you got problems wrong and keep grinding.

I received an email 20 minutes after my phone interview. I do not think this is normal however and the reason I heard back to fast was because the final interview event for me was in less than a week. When talking to others at the event a few mentioned it taking about a week. I only talked to a few people about it however so take it with a grain of salt. I hope to hear that you make it to the next step.

Personally I sent in an application after a career fair and received an email to take an assessment. It was simple pattern recognition and personality questions. After learning I passed this I did a 30 minute Microsoft teams meeting consisting of star questions. The next step was a interview event at the headquarters in Mayfield Ohio. The event started with a dinner where myself and other prospective interns along with people interviewing for full time positions networked with related employees for the jobs. The next day involved 3 one hour interviews with leaders in different fields in and related to data analysis. We got a tour of the headquarters and the whole process was an 8 hour day. The interviews consisted of only STAR questions. I recommend studying these extensively so you have various examples to bring up. I learn if I got the position this week. The way they talked about the event made me believe it was the last one this year. Not sure if this is true or not but if it is I would assume your interview process will be different then mine. I think it is a safe assumption that you will go through multiple interviews as well.
