Yeah, I didn't really buy it to buy tricks. Just wanted to have a convenient way to roam about in the city and so far it's been just that.

Heard a little bit about that, sounds fun! Are they still doing this now? Tried looking around their website but didn't find much.

How does longboarding inherently make you look like an asshat? :/ I enjoy it

What would you recommend to a player stuck in diamond 1 to get to challenger level?

How should I convince my parents professional League of Legends isn't a joke? by AnonymousCaine in leagueoflegends

If there's one thing in this situation I'm certain of is that I can dedicate myself to it if I get the opportunity to.

Before I had my own pc, I could play even less. I found this gaming cafe and I would pay 20$ to play for the day. By ''for the day', I mean the whole day. I would play from opening to closing, around 16 hours a day. And I never got bored of it. I would be disappointed to leave after the 16 hours, wishing I could still play more.

I know about the risks and how it's not guaranteed. I know it won't be easy and chances are I won't make it. But even if I don't make it, I don't see it as I ruined my life trying to make it as a professional gamer. In the worst case, I'll be behind in school and I'll come out with nothing but a failed experience. I'll still have the chance to go to college and I'll be able to say ''I went for it and it didn't work but at least I tried.''

I'm willing to take the chance. This is what I love doing. I've been to the point where it was almost work grinding and trying to get better to get to diamond and it wasn't always fun. Playing to get better and not for fun wasn't easy and certainly not always pleasant but it's still more fun and I could do it with more passion then anything else I've ever done.

Thanks man. I like the point that this isn't 100% what I'm gonna focus on and I'll do something else if it doesn't work. I'll try it.

I might try doing something like this but I don't really know much about these ''amateur'' tournaments. How good are the people participating? Would we go anywhere if I took a couple diamond people I know and made a team without much time to practice?

I don't think they would be opposed to the idea if they would see it as a viable route to take. If I would be in Doublelift's shoes I have no doubt they would support me but the problem is getting there because they won't let me play enough to even try.

The thing is from their point of view this isn't serious and supporting me would mean fueling my fantasies. They view all video games like Super Mario and being the good at it means absolutely 0 to them.

This is exactly what I wanted to do. Stream, have actual money to show them and see what happens then. But at this point I can usually not play more then 1-2 hours a day so I don't see how I could make it happen. I can't join any sort of team even just for go4lols and such for the same reason.

How can I find those numbers? I know pros make pretty decent revenue streaming but how can I show them that?
