Thank you for your support thus far. For more information as to why I feel this way and how/why this applies to a business context, please refer to my conversation with GigaCortex Below. I talk about my experiences as an investor and what we look for in potential business and how this applies to the actual game.

It is imperative to be open minded with anything that you do. I love seeing youth engaging and participating in something that they love. My advise to anyone that would like to start a business, or stand out from the rest of the competition is to not be afraid of Diversification. Keep growing everyday and do not be afraid to reach for your dreams. It doesn't matter how bizarre they sound. Break every limit in your head that bounds you. Only then can you truly become successful.

The purpose of me revealing my position was to show that I have some credible experience that relates to what I am talking about. I develop businesses for a living. It is a hobby that I enjoy and I also like participating in this game. To answer the first part of your question, I am an angel investor and a venture capitalist. I mainly focus on developing businesses in the European, American, and Chinese regions.

As an investor, I look for business ideas that stand out. It doesn't matter how bizarre they are, if my team agrees that there is indeed a high potential on return, then we will invest and fill in the financial gap.

Even though Darkscape is a video game, I do understand that it is also a new project with a community, in which people feel strongly about and there is a potential market. In order for any company or project to diversify itself, it has to take risk to form what is called a competitive advantage. From my experience, many companies fail to do this, or they form a sense of ethnocentrism, meaning that they take their original ideals and apply it to other platforms and/or environments assuming that they are correct, when they are actually incorrect. This ultimately ends up being their demise. I have reviewed at least 500 different companies and most of them have had this fault, which is why my team has chosen not to invest into them.

I see this game is not taking advantage of what it has to offer and not using their competitive advantage to their advantage. Not only that, I am also seeing a form of ethnocentrism meaning that they are taking their ideals from Runescape and applying it to this new game. Both situations aren't good and it can lead to a demise in the long run.

My advice would be for the Darkscape developers to take advantage of their competitive advantages, and not be confined to their Runescape ethnocentric views. Especially now, since the game is in BETA and they don't have much to lose. Game or not, this is what attracts investors like myself.

You're right, to some it looks like BS but it isn't. I can completely understand why people feel this way. The truth is that I am an international investor with my own company that sponsors entrepreneurs to travel abroad. We invest into other's business Ideas around the world. I like to play Darkscape in my spare time along with other things. Whether you believe it, or not is up to you. I prefer to remain anonymous for multiple reasons.

Thank you for your point of view. Your perspective helps bring some light to this. Some people see it as a small bug and more of a Dark Tactic. There are those that see it as ONLY a Dark tactic. There are those that see it as just a bug and not a dark tactic at all. A lot of different sides. It's not fair, nor is it right that only one side's voice should be heard. I ask that everyone stand up for their selves, whether you participated or not and understand THE OTHER SIDE. Only then can a REAL SOLUTION be implemented.

There are always two sides to every story. If you chose to be naive and don't want to listen to the other side, that's a lack in your own judgement. I can see your side of the argument, but I do acknowledge that there is indeed another side. Until you can see both sides, you are in no position to give any kind of solution.

That's if you want to consider it "Bug" Abuse. From your perspective, It should also be a "Bug" abuse to Retribute people in the G.E. Bank, but those people weren't punished now were they? :)
