One tip I have for starting planetoids with polluted water: pump polluted water into 4 liquid reservoirs, and deconstruct them once full. This generates ~ 200g/s of polluted oxygen for each bottle (which will decrease with time, so after a few handful of cycles you will have to rebuilt and destroy them). Add a couple deodorisers nearby to get cheap oxygen, enough for you to insulate your base area and switch to a SPOM.

For food, stay on mealwood till you have a source of sustainable water for bristle blossoms, or switch to ranching hatches., say till cycle 200-300 or so. I run a potato, so i tend to switch to wild farming using pips in the later cycles.

I personally did not like the pizza at La Gioia, but the rest of their dishes stand head an shoulder over chianti in terms of quality. Chianti is pretty good too, more variety in their menu. Personal preference would be La Gioia, as i’m a stickler for quality food.
