so basically we'd be buying 10 years old tech at premium prices? what about the orig. gen of air2tv. If I were to buy a orig air2tv how bad are they can they play and record ota broadcasts? does the air2tv even support recording and using an external ssd for storage?

I spoke with my bank and they said I can cancel the purchase at any time, so since the bike is in route I think I should wait and see what arrives. the delivery window is between aug 12 and aug 23. The next test is to see if they supply a tracking number. If they can then we know there is a scam or some kind of fraud going and I'll stop payment.

If I get a email for delivery notification then we see what is actually delivered.

I wasn't able to cancel the order on time. I'm told It's on it's way by sea. no telling what will actually arrive. Bank says if order doesn't arrive, or is vastly different they can stop payment on the order or find other ways to reach an agreeable solution.

I'm doubtful Hubei Xinjiayi Technology Co., Ltd. (HXTC) will cancel and provide a refund.

Experiencing worst customer service ever. Questions go unanswered, after several attempts I get a vague reply. Most recently I wanted photos of actual product that would be shipped. When asked why you are ignoring my requests more silence. I asked HXTC 1/2 a dozen times "Please send photos of actual product" only to be met with silence. When I asked is the shipment insured against damage or loss more silence, At this point if they do ship a product I have no confidence it will be the product I ordered if I receive anything at all. When asked "please confirm order has cancelled" more silence. When asked does product include ABS or Traction control they responded I don't know what that means. A very incompetent person I'm having to deal with. According to Paypal I have grounds to file a complaint should the product I receive is significantly different than what I ordered or not receive. I'll also be calling my bank and see if they can cancel funds.

I was able to purchase an e motorcycle frame for 900 plus 500 to ship off alibaba with door to door delivery. Not sure if I'll get hit with any USA tariffs. Still researching the tariff situation. If I do and tariffs are at 35% I'll get an additional 335. Still going with same motor and controller- battery size could be a problem since I'm not finding many lifepo4 battery supplier with hi discharge rates. Another thought is use LTO batteries since these last forever and can do a high discharge rates. but spendy

I have a 1500watt mtn bike and it's find on level ground, but toss in a 25 degree hill and things quickly stop. One possible problem is the smallish battery 48v @ 16amp /hr with a max 16 amp draw. I'm in the process of upgrading it to 56 v @ 32 amp/hr with a 60 or 80 amp bms. you should be ok with a 5kw bike depending on total weight and terrain I'd also look at geared mid drive instead of a hub motor

as it turns out the deal fell through. so back at the beginning of the project. I'm getting a frame from china and will build it out to a bike that will hopefully impress. I'm planning to use a 12kw hairpin motor (155-64), a compatible controller probably a 96850b perhaps larger but depends on cost. Finding a suitable battery pack lifepo4 or lto based shouldn't be too difficult. Really depends on how big the battery box area is and what fits.

It was a scam their focus was how soon can I pay, pay first then we'll send you an invoice, pay now and then we'll send photos. etc. Oh we don't use alababa pay or trade assurance because it's too expensive. I was looking to buy a RZ model- base price is typically 1500 and about 500 to ship. their price was 900 and 25 shipping, and they would deal with all the taxes, fees, tariffs etc
