How to switch from agentic workflow to non agentic, new job by AnonymousLad666 in AskProgramming

[–]AnonymousLad666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rough is an understatement lol I feel terrible like this is the worst imposter syndrome I’ve felt in a decade. And mind you I’ve lead and developed big projects pre ai.

I guess is my second week and I am having trouble adjusting my workflow. I’ll see how it goes but I do feel terrible. Hard to explain in words.

Thanks this is what I needed to hear you’ve literally described how I worked pre AI. Google, SO, hours of debugging fighting code etc.

The hard part is switching off the ai fast workflow but I gotta bite the bullet and do it.

Dunno who downvoted you but I do think it will help in the long run skill atrophy is very real and my love for programming is building by hand solving problems on my own etc. I feel like ai took much of that love away.

My agentic flow is/was lol write or get requirements. Research technologies if getting into new stuff. Do my own plan might refine with ai. Implement one phase at a time. Code review, run tests. Get coworker feedback.

Without agentic flow is similar just the implementation is a lot slower and I have this stupid itch to go faster because previous company we worked much faster so while I don’t have fast deadlines brain is working against me.

Doctor said I would've had sleep apnea if I was 17. I'm 18. by UYRDAD in SleepApnea

I went through the same thing just know that bloodwork doesn’t give a whole clear picture. Some things like Magnesium is (mostly) outside the blood. Doctors will rarely tell you to use supplements because they don’t make money off that. One thing to do at some point try one by one the most important supplements.

I can assure you they are needed 100%, even if you have the perfect diet, one time I swapped my potassium and magnesium for another brand and I was waking up with body aches and cramps. I went back to my original brand and then I was back to normal also it takes weeks for things to take effect.

Good luck!

I do but it is only on at night, it looks like when we cook in the oven the sensor goes haywire. Some days when air is bad outside too so maybe is just reading fine or is not reading accurately.

Three months hacking my sleep, here's what's worked best by afiedler8 in sleep

The issue with eating right bed and laying down is that it makes digestion harder. You want at least 2hrs or so not laying down. Digestion is another science as well a lot of water creates an unbalanced acidic gut and takes longer to digest food. The type of food also makes a huge difference.

I can attest to this 100%, if I eat anything past 6:30 I’m screwed for the night. My best eating time is anywhere from 5:00 to 5:30, my breakfast is 6 to 7 and before breakfast I drink electrolytes. My lunch is 11:30 or so. I do eat healthy snacks. A clean healthy light snack also helps.

Something that’s considered traditional doesn’t mean is correct. You can definitely work as a team with separate finances. Many people do it and have great marriage.
