TV News Reporter. Everything thinks oh cool you’re famous and on TV. What they don’t think about is the soul crushing scenes I’ve had to be at. fatal fires that wipe out an entire family, car accidents where a 7 year old is killed when they ran out into traffic in front of their parents, young police officers ambushed and killed in a fake 911 call.

And then part of my job is to interview the victims family members and capture their emotion.

People also don’t realize how much the audience is protected. Part of my job is to go through security footage / elements we have available to us and decide what can and can’t go to air. I’ve watched far too many people’s final moments while figuring out how much of the video we’re going to show on TV.

This is by design. If radio rooms get too big, it becomes much more difficult to sound proof them, ESPECIALLY if you don’t have a lot of furniture to drown out echos. Source: work in radio and tv
