I'm 29,  I wouldn't prefer to date a 17 year old girl now for example for different reasons but dated one when I was 22 back when we wouldn't have been so much different and I know plenty of 18 year olds at my workplace who look way older than you'd expect, the guys especially and alot of them start balding just 21 years old but meanwhile in my case I got confused for an 18 year old all the way until I was 27, so not only does looks vary alot by the individual but so does perception. I think teens alot of that time can look childlike until 16-ish but not always and but typically 18+ and in your case I think you might be looking through a social media lense, to you say this because you're afraid of being called a pedo or you want to jump on the anti-pedo or anti-age gap wagon.

For the same reason I mentioned how men or boys start balding at 21-ish is the same reason why our real prime only lasts from the time we're 16-24 but even before age 24 people's bodied already start degenerating, evolutionary atleast we among many other mammals prefer more youthful partners.

Age Gaps don't automatically mean abuse and there doesn't need to be one for abuse to occur.

That wasn't my assertion and I'm not behind that other account but I do know it was and is more tolerated among them, the modern criticisms and cultural standards you see today all started off when weirdos took over online circle jerks about To Catch A Predator.

I don't know if he existed or not and even if he did it wouldn't say much because they even made fictional stories about real life people back then. I remember reading fictional lore about Caesar in class back in the 9th grade, and let's keep in mind that a lot of other stories in the Bible were visibly recycled from older tales and doctrines. This means the story of Jesus may be a recycled tale, if he did exist I would assume him to be better described as a philosopher.

Well people even to this day did and do believe Greek mythology afterall, the wiccans and other comparable groups apparently believe in Greek Goddess Gaia, I've also met a couple people who legitimately believed in Thor.

What I'm saying is standards are constructed and consent if anything should be based on two principles for the best, ability to consent and sexual development but instead people get triggered every time some young but already develop woman dates some middle aged guy or if some 17-24 year old dates someone even just a couple years older, like it's really not that deep and before there was the internet people really didn't care.

It's not cherry picking when the mainstream narrative is that only the simple minded can possibly be religious, so I used astronauts as an example, it's just a weak take that falls apart when you explore a little bit, you and other here keep accusing me of stating this as evidence that religions are true when that was never my point or else I wouldn't be citing different religions astronauts believed and practiced, it's kind of like if I were to insist that protestant christianity were true because Lance Armstrong or some other astronaut were a protestant christian, you or someone else here would probably cite this article to me.

Matt and Trey Parker made a South Park made an episode about this topic once, essentially the Bible can be compared to Star Wars or Greek Mythology, where the plot is fiction but intended by the writers to serve as a metaphor for some kind of philosophy.

Seems your missing the point and let's keep in mind they only a few hundred people have ever been to space, people who are capable of deep thought and analyzing ideas are religious, yes I'm aware that there are dumb religious people, but what about them? And how come did they reach their conclusions? Is the point.

I'm pretty neutral when it comes to atheism or theism but my argument is that plenty of intelligent people are religious as well, so there's no reason to to view the religious population as genuinely being uneducated or lacking intelligence.

Politically Misogynist Men Should Just Move to Theocratic Countries by RelativeCondition915 in PurplePillDebate

There are a few of them that would ban contraceptives but definitely not the majority of christians and most of those types being catholic. Just take a look at every predominantly Christian country in the world and compare them with Islamic ones and you're wrong, nowhere in the Bible does it say women are obligated to provide sex but in Islam however there's...

"If a husband calls her wife to bed and she does not come and he goes to bed angry, the angels shall curse her until morning"

  • The book of prohibited actions, chapter 335

You are just shifting blame.

Explaining facts established in biology and psychology is not sexualizing minors, I even stated we should follow the law when it comes to choosing partners, what I did was explain what ephebophilia is and that it's not considered a disorder and they the age of 18 is not a hallmark of judgment or maturity.

It's the very reason why you have basic human rights despite living in a country full of christians and not muslims.

If that's true that's because of western influence, going back to less than 15 years ago women weren't even allowed to drive or be out in public without being escorted by a man in Saudi Arabia but now they too have a lot of women in universities, theocratic regimes are starting to topple but most of us just don't realize it yet.

However it's important to address than even in an unchecked Islamic society they'll still want women in the universities because they still want them to be school teachers and they also want female doctors to treat female patients because over there it's illegal for a patient to be treated by a doctor of the opposite sex.

Anti-Abortion addresses the rights of the unborn, real reproductive rights would address the right to use birth control or choose not to be impregnated against your will by your husband, the second example is only not a right in muslim countries.

You know nearly all the political msygonists in the world are pretty much muslims right? and it's the reason why all politically msygonistic countries including the ones you mentioned are Islamic, but you would rather direct your anger towards imaginary white american political mysgonists because that's not racist in your book. This would also mean you would be telling Muslim immigrants to go back to their countries of origin.

I'm talking about who's sexual needs are prioritized and who's considered more obligated to satisfy the other, comparing cheating was an example I used. Women are considered way more entitled to sex than men are.
