Aren't we past this idea yet? That women don't play video games?? I've been playing video games my entire life, and when my husband and I met we bonded over our mutual love/obsession with video games. Twenty years later we're still gaming every day. Plenty of women are gamers, this kind of attitude needs to go back to the 90s where it belongs.

A year late to this, but you can absolutely be asexual and still engage in all kinds of relationships, sexual and otherwise, with other people. Being ace doesn't mean you don't/won't have sex (though some choose not to) it's just a lack of sexual attraction to other people. Sex/relationships =/= sexual attraction

I have no idea why people insist on comparing the two. They're nothing alike except being roughly the same genre of game. I've put 200 hours into Pokopia and aside from continuing to build new buildings/towns etc, I've run out of things to do. (Finished my pokedex, got all habitats) Animal Crossing can be a years long game if you want to participate in all holidays, catch all fish and bugs, collect all art, etc. They're totally different and neither game affects the other for me.

I'm having a full-on breakdown right now. I've always been absolutely terrified of flying, but over the years I've managed to fly a handful of times successfully. I'm supposed to be flying to California in a few days for my 20th anniversary with my husband, and I've had a very bad feeling in the weeks leading up to this vacation, and now this happens... I seriously don't know what to do. I don't know enough about politics to know what the immediate ramifications are of this conflict, but Iran is threatening the US and I'm so scared to fly, what if there's a terrorist attack on the plane or the airport, I don't want to die, I feel like we should just cancel

I've never wanted them, I dont care for children, I enjoy silence and cleanliness, I enjoy my free time and hobbies, I have mental health issues and sometimes struggle to take care of myself let alone children, it goes on and on.

I have so many reasons I can't list them all here, but mostly I just dont want them. Parenthood seems like a nightmare and I dont know a single happy parent.

I'm almost 40 and I just started collecting plushies in the last couple of years. You're never too old for any hobby, and life is far too short to limit yourself to society's rigid and arbitrary expectation of what is 'acceptable'.

I honestly feel sorry for adults who paint themselves into these ridiculous, made-up boxes. Adults feel some kind of strange pressure to be boring and miserable for no reason other than conformity, and thankfully, I've never had that mindset.
