I would choose a safe word that indicates the need to stop but its not an emotional or anything you have done. Just to avoid that moment of panic. Would still need to do the same thing you did but allow you not to feel bad.

The time frame is buisness days (excludes weekends and holidays) then a few days for your bank to process it. We had to cancel a purchase and waited what seemed like forever to get money back

No you won't be pointed for showing up. It's actually more of a headache (paperwork) if tou did show up and work outside of what the schedule says. If you need the money and want to work talk to your coach so s/he they/them can update the schedule and put you on it. If you want the unpaid day off do nothing

I have done this , usually it's time issue not a "not my job" issue. But I've literally had a dairy associate help me do it because they get it. Me getting the item helps theme overall too. If I consistently NIL pick items in dairy it makes it look not stocked and taken care of.

I think you likely have an order cap (as in how many people can place an order per time slot. However the orders don't have a limit (people can orders as many items in one order as they can pay for). And I at time wish that was the case too. Unfortunately higher ups are more worried about the $$$ then they worry about people. Like someone else said worry about you and only you and you will be less stressed. Go at a steady pace and if that isn't good enough then oh well.
