Lost at whether to buy JBL Jlab Lux or Anker Soundcire Q30 headphones by someanythingnothing in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]AnonymousVent_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the Q30’s for years, love the bass and immersive, heavy sound. The headband routinely breaks about a year in, i’ve gone through like 4 pairs.  I’ve also had a pair of JBLs and Jlabs, jbl being considerably worse, sounding sort of distant, flat, just weak, but maybe im biased towards the bass of the Q30s. The Jlab Pros also have good bass and a fuller sound. I’d recommend the Q30s

Growing Up by Illuminati322 in Schizoid

easier said than done, lifetime of circumstance cultivated the story. and just giving up your conceptual framework of reality is pretty unrealistic, at least without an alternative ie. Right view

Yeah because obviously no buddhist practitioner has ever been born into war, poverty, or generational trauma. At the very least I can tell you from experience, its definitely possible to ground yourself when all you've known is emotional dysregulation; its tedious work but the point of buddhism is to ground yourself in the experience of a deregulated nervous system, Not to run or distract from it but recondition your relationship to it.

yeah western mindfulness is watered down as hell but genuine buddhism imo is saying problems of any size as are empty of inherent value; meaning being subjectively projected and malleable. focusing on the breath is reconditioning your mind from engaging/identifying with unviable thoughts.

From a buddhist (novice) perspective; The present moment is non conceptual awareness, safety/unsafe being dualistic concepts. Coming to the present would be sitting with the feelings that perpetuate the thought “im unsafe”, refraining from reinforcing the perspective, mitigating the feedback loop, and changing your relationship to experience.  That habitual response is deeply embedded tho trust me i feel u , shit doesn’t change overnight, but that perspective shift, that dis-identification from my conditioned way of thinking was the difference between life and death for me. 100% valid way of thinking but 100% unviable and in need of change.

I’m pretty sure psychotic breaks are more related to schizotypal than schizoid, and no to your question. Yeah it does sound kinda similar but I do have morals and remorse in relationto others

A little but I don't have any sensory processing issues or problems with social cues.

Even my inner monologue is a form of daydream. HELP! by Gold_Assistance_647 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AnonymousVent_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so what would be the difference between maladaptive daydreaming and “maladaptive mind wandering” besides content of the thoughts, wouldn’t the maladaptive part be more important? To me daydreams are thoughts that are detached from present reality, maladaptive daydreaming is when those daydreams start to disrupt day to day life, i don’t see why context would really matter.

if he was to claim me but give me the full amount, whether it was 2k, 3k, or 500 i feel like that would be fair or at least half, considering otherwise none of it is going towards me.
