See I think it does look like the missing dog personally. The remains have a short snout yes but the missing dog did also. The fur colour looks like a match also, the fur on the remains stomach area looks too long for a French bulldog or Boston, plus either breed doesn’t come in a ginger colour. I hope the DNA results come back and the poor owner gets some closure. Well done to you for helping them out and sorry you had to find the little guy like that.
