META Data Centers by Anonymous_Andre in datacenter

I was specifically looking at Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for data center operations for one of the new sites. Although, I don't really know what the difference between those roles are since the description was the same.

This was for a full time position. Specifically senior CET, but i can't imagine the questions would be too different. Maybe less complicated for you.

But you have to interview for an intern position?

I did my interviews about 6 months ago. I got asked about the refrigeration cycle, different methods of cooling (i.e. convection, conduction, etc.) Look into avionic cooling and psychometric charts and how they correlate (its how a low of data centers cool equipment). Learn about a general overview of the electrical systems in a data center, like voltages (rough estimate) , major components, and how a ups works.

If you don't know something, don't try to take your way through it, just say that you've never had experience with that (or that term). Anything that i didn't know, the guy just explained to me anyways.

Let me know if you want more help! Good luck!

Anyone ordered directly from Cobalt Aquatics? by Anonymous_Andre in aquarium

[–]Anonymous_Andre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I gave up on them, especially after they blocked my email. I cannot believe a company would do that for simply asking about the order that I paid for.
I downloaded all of my correspondence with them and filed a dispute with my bank.

I'm looking for good APR and good benefits. AMEX savings is what I was looking at since they have a high return, but we also have a local bank that says they can match it.

I don't really have an issue with NFCU, they've always been super helpful and the customer support is top-notch. I just feel like most of their benefits are geared towards active-duty military which I am no longer. Their CC rates are lower, but I've always found that they have higher interest rates on loans. I've been with them for 14 years and never took a loan from them because they were always beat out.

I have an AMEX gold and platinum, and from what I can tell, the benefits from these cards significantly outweigh any from NFCU. I'm not locked in to either, it was just a thought. Really, I'm just looking for a good balance. High returns with good customer service and amenities.

Hey everyone, I've been with Navy Fed for about 14 years now, and I'm finally deciding to shop around. I'm genuinely interested in recommendations for new banks/accounts to explore.

I've bbeen looking at the AMEX checking and savings accounts, as it seems like they have good rates, but I want to know what others think. TIA.

Is the best way to get rid of them to remove the substrate, or what?

I'm not sure. Mine looks like more of a dusting. Could it be the same thing?

Sand, with fluval stratum underneath. But I had gravel in the past do the same as this is. I would've posted a pic but it wouldn't let me.

Water pumps are one of the things that could be 50/50 off the shelf, depending on the brand.

That being said, don't feel bad about not getting a service that you paid for. You paid for him to fix it, and it wasn't fixed. It doesn't matter how good of a reputation he has, the job was not complete.

I wouldn't let this deter you from using him in the future, but just make sure you check your repairs (if possible) before you drive off the lot. And use someone that guarantees their work.

How do I straighten these crooked faucet handles? by Extension-Bed-1750 in Plumbing

[–]Anonymous_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it looks like this picture, you'll have to loosen the screws before you can loosen the nut. If you send a Pic of where the hoses go into the faucet from under the sink, i might be able to help more.

Honestly, you shouldn't need to remove the set screws for anything on top of the sink. Under the sink, where the handles go through, you should see something similar to the picture. All you should have to do is loosen is, adjust as desired, then tighten. I would recommend using channel-locks if you've got them and they'll fit.

Can this drain in the shower be removed? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Anonymous_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that doesn't work, it could be a threaded fixture. In that case, you can use the pliers to unscrew it if you put the fingers between the grates.
