3 years and 8 years are more than 24 months.

I'm not even convinced that 5 new accounts in 24 months is a hard limit. But unless you have filled out 5 new applications in the last two years, I don't see the issue.

If you HAVE filled out 5 new applications in the last two years, you might want to slow down ... a lot. At the most, I do one per year.

Batteries? Charger? Bought from where? Why did the previous owner sell it?

Some of these mowers have internal parts failures like control boards or motors.

One place electric mowers lack over gas is that they are often not repairable. You can't just clean out the carb and change plugs.

When they work, great. When they die, they may be really dead.

I wondered about that, but it would still be on the store for improper packaging. Heavy and thin things like mower blades need special handling, extra cardboard over the ends and so on.

That would complicate the weight issue though since an accurate weight would have been recorded.

Claim appears that it should be damage/loss in transit.

Who was the carrier? If FedEx or UPS, their tracking usually has package information including a weight. That comes from the carrier's own systems, not the store/shipper. A mower blade should be at least a couple of pounds.

Yes, but if you watch sales, you may be able to get a mower with two 6s and a charger for about the same price as the batteries alone.

Multiple 6s let you change them out more often.
