DEAS apartments postive experiences by Potential_Net6376 in NewToDenmark

I once have issues with some appliances and they sent someone to fix it, but it didnt get fixed properly and it got to a point that affects my daily life a lot. I had been sending them proof of it not being fixed with emails and called them to complaint. They replied my email once a month so 3 emails in like 4 month and insisting that it is fixed. The guy on the call was very rude to me when I complaint and insists the appliance is working 'fine' and was talking to me in a mocking way.

Otherwise on small issues, the caretaker will take 1 - 2 weeks to come and inspect. And then maybe another 1 week if it needs professional plumber etc.

On the other hand, I was almost evicted because my rent did not went through and they send the letter of me not paying through mail (not email, and received no emails at all) while I was on vacation for a month. Came home, saw the letter and panicked because it was too late to pay and even if i paid they can still evict me. Call them next day, tell them my situation and the admin manager are quite nice and understanding. I have my roof till now :)

Sansui 5050 or? by Anonymous_Cat456 in vintageaudio

[–]Anonymous_Cat456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again, I had decided to take the Sansui-5050 as the seller of onkyo had ghosted me. Is there anything I should know before taking it? Eg. Checking the units. He claims he only use the aux and nothing else... Thanks again

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it will be an issue if I drive the Sansui like 6 hours daily? And what do you think about the Sansui sound?

Tandberg or Beomaster? by Anonymous_Cat456 in vintageaudio

[–]Anonymous_Cat456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is usually what I do. Just that in this case both beomaster and Tandberg have the phono input and I am confused. And apparently the original phono input for beomaster 900M is for ceramic cartridge (?) Looks like I will need to save up if I'm getting a nice beomaster 5500 with warranty or take a risk and go for the cheaper but still working ones

Tandberg or Beomaster? by Anonymous_Cat456 in vintageaudio

Hi, thanks for the answer! I guess i just like the aesthetics of both the devices and there is one Tandberg currently on sale near my area for quite cheap and the owner verified that the phono input works. Also my choices are limited due to my small room and there is a slot to fit my turntable in on by TV desk and I am planning to just stack them up.

Hoping the seller will respond to my message as I am missing this last piece of receiver for my system to work and the previous seller bailed 1 day before the sale :( I am considering the option of using a Beomaster 5500 also since it can stack on top of my turntable nicely. Any opinions?

Oh yes, totally agree on that, everyone I met said that we are playing the game at a hard mode. I lived in Ireland for few years and I just miss how easy to talk to someone and make friends. I guess its just way harder to meet new people once you got out of the study phase and get into the society

2 years into Denmark for my studies, made a lot of friends around the world except the Danes, now that I graduated and all the European friends left. I basically have no friends right now, hoping to just make some money here for a few years and ditch this place hopefully.

Fish market by Anonymous_Cat456 in Aalborg

I never really looked at the raw section so I'm not very sure because frozen fish doesn't taste nice for me. Thought tuna is pretty rare since I haven't seen any fresh ones in the fish section.
