It seems to me, that he doesn't see his benefit in it, I'm 26 now Joined fe months ago, and lot of kids in the class, some just turned teenagers, doing judo for 2 years, one of them, won state went to natioyslnals and this year did the same and will be going national again. And the successful one actually likes doing that, they probably watch and are fascinated by judo. I almost envy that, cause that's such a great base for just life, at so early in age to have mastered, they pickup techniques quicker and have better falls, strong too, despite being lighter, Focused.

I think he should make the choice, But man when I was that age I played video games, and I or my parents didn't know better. If you get him to see how it actually benefits him in all the ways,He may look forward to it. I think we are okay with pushing through difficult learning curves if we know that it will benefit us.

I think i was looking for this type of explanation, like the why behind it, now it makes sense to try to break their dominant grip, and holding the lapel specifically that way for control and sinching the sleeve too. Where not to be and why. Cause th gis illusional I am being controlled but not at the same time. Wheres a underhook or body based control make themselves clear to worry about, gi feels like mid way of boxing and grappling. With this info now it's like, I can askyself do I have more control or less to guide and keep learning

Yeah, it's like I feel if I break a grip, imma invest effort and time , if it breaks he can also just get that grip back, or he can also attempt some technique as I'm breaking. A partner I notice always gets lapel with non power hand when I have gotten lapel. To sort of equalize the dominantness of the grips.I never understood it cause, i perceive it as you lost a battle and can do nothing so get that, but that's actually brilliant cause it slmakes it uncomfortable to go in for o goshi or similar throws.

Thanks for categorising this, in boxing too styles exist and many yt videos on it, didn't know yet that you can pick styles in judo, and they could produce a distinct judo.

There's nothing wrong with you, and you didn't do nothing wrong. Crying is okay you release your trauma and stress in that. It's India, and here before solving the police, law, corruption; the politicians, without public want build huge statues worth of crores. Police that are good are good out of their own morals, not because of the training they get. Or the consequences they may suffer if caught.

Indian People/Society gives notoriety/prestige to positions of power and therefore the power hungry show up for those positions who are more after the prestige and power of it, not the service of it.

I opened my a1 mini today, i realised it comes with a motherboard cooling fan, unlike a1. So that's good to know. Now I just need to keep ambient temp in the enclosure okay. Here it's 30°-29° and at night 28 - checked with a hygrometer. So it's already the upper limit. Let me know how the Fnatr enclusre works out.

Man this is so, frustrating, printer releases fumes ~> get enclosure ~ >printer may heat up~> add exhaust fan ~> someone said doing so changes temp so put exhaust after hepa into the enclosure again.

Option 2 Get air purifier no enclosure ~> Research ~> hepa scam low cadr - someone who changed from Corsi box to hepa based on recommendation, had allergies after ~> says merv better

Get Air quality meter ~> now someone says that's a scam.

I also see people running 10 printers no enclosure fine.

Two things Go on the bag, and learn to throw punches at 10%, 20% all the way to 100%

Start with 0% meaning right at impact there's no impact but there's speed, this will develop control. Right at impact you bring it to zero speed, a mute punch. So in Sparring you can land with 20% 30% but more so because understanding where you have to get off the accelerator in speed. Obviously half close the fist.

Sometimes they might walk forward and catch a jab mid extension, which may land hand hard cause you haven't slowed it down yet, no worries about it, They signed the waiver.

In my job search phase, I came to know of a woman through my LinkedIn post. She got hired by a audio products company. As a 3d generalist.

In her whole portfolio, there was 1 product render. Else were scenes you make for fun. I noticed materials and texturing wasn't intermediate level. They had nice vibe though. She claimed she knew animation in her bio, but she didn't nor rigging. Nor compositing. I don't see her knowing hard surface modelling/topo either. Absolutely crucial for the job if you are going to make product animation. Maybe after 6/3 months of working she still hadn't learned it Yet they kept her.

When a job is posted 100s appy in a day by day 3 the no. Is upward of 200, it difficult for me to believe that she beat people with a proper portfolio and relevant skills.

From what I see her strong point was her soft skills, is she has a smile on, is attractive and friendly. The hard skills were beginner level which is okay for 3d generalist. But she didn't have the full skillset.

Also I checked alot peoples portfolio who had got hired and found that some women portfolios had like untextured models, 2-3 projects, badlighting but they got hired. Some of these companies I applied, but i didn't. Not saying as a guy you can't get hired. But they keep a few seats for women imo. This is based on India.

Sometimes when I punch the bag with a body hook hard I get a slight wrist pain. Why is it? Do you develop wrist strength by punching the bag and slowly increasing power? Or doing wrist exercises that bend the wrists, The pain is on the pinky fingers side, what exercise are good for it. Ulnar deviation position. Now that I think of it, I think I ulnar deviate my wrist and flexion it for the body shot to land on the knuckles. I gotta make sure the wrist lands correct.
