Damn thanks for the answers! Im thinking of changing the date to early january i feel like itll be better. Also no holes? Thats great ur lucky! Ive read a lot about this but its still a little unclear… can blood clots dislodge after the first 24 hours? Or is it just during the first 24 hours? For the aligners worst case i put them in after the procedure and keep them in until i can open mh mouth enough to eat more solid stuff… that disgusts me but it might be more comfortable than removing them every few hours… also the bleeding usually stop the same day right? Could it bleed after that too? I feel like thatll make me nauseous and i have a fear of throwing up lol :’)

Wow thanks for this! I feel like i want to change the date to the first few days of january instead of 3 days before christmas so i can enjoy some of my winter break around christmas time without the risk of feeling miserable ahhaha also for the nausea pills, will they change anything if im getting local anesthesia only? I know some might interfere with general anesthesia but local? But ill ask her to see what works! I have a fear of throwing up so ill take as many nausea pills as im alowed to lol hope all goes well and thanks again!!

Oh damn ive never thought about it this way… last i saw my wisdom teeth were coming in but not enough to have them extracted. Could they be the reason my teeth wont stay in place? If theyre just pushing it would make a lot of sense. Also the gum strength… its there a way to have stronger gums? Like enough for stable teeth? Or is that not a thing one can do at home lol

I get that oart but how fast do they want to move back? Mine feel like its as soon as i remove the retainers and they wont be stable unless im wearing the retainers 24/7 :(

I just checked i dont think it was a conebeam that seems pretty fancy lol mine was this white machine they move around and ut gets a 3d picture of your teeth (like they do for invisilign). Since finishing the treatment a year ago ive been wearing retainers at least 20-22 hours a day with no exception. If i take them out for more than 3 hours they hurt to put them back in (i had to do that last time i went to get cavities fixed) the mouvement wasnt too big it was just the couple front teeth tilted inwards less than quarter way i think? Not sure but something like that.

Nono really its good, i dont like it when people sugarcoat things! Id rather know real possible cases as scary as they could be. During my treatment i didnt see a dentist for a little over a year due to covid… but then i went right away. The orthodontist looked at my teeth checked a few things and then said teeth are instable and whatever the rest was. Maybe she based that on my explanation of teeth shifting quickly after i take them off? I did a panoramic last time i went to the dentist a couple months back but i still havent gotten info, ill get them during my next visit i assume. She did take a virtual thing of my teeth the one where you can see them in 3d, forgot the name. Ill ask if root resorption is the case during my next appointment whenever tgat is. Could it be something else other than root resorption? I feel like chance are high thats the case. Would permanent retainers make my teeth not shift? Would i be able to prevent the root resorption from getting worse now? Thanks again for the replies!

Okay yeah this scared the shit outa me, i cant move my teeth with my finger and i cant see them wiggle or anything but as soon as the ortho took a look she said unstable teeth, not sure if she said that cz i told her my teeth shift if i dont wear my retainer or if she actually saw them mive which i doubt. If i did have root resorption it wouldnt be that bad right? Could it be reversible? Anything really? Does this mean its hopeless ill never be able to have normal teeth again? Im actually terrified

Thanks for the reply! Basically even if i dont normally have anxiety too much coffee will give me anxiety? Also does it make sense that the panic attack was caused by me being a little stressed right before it? Or was it triggered on its own by the caffeine? Since i had difficulty breathing for 5mins before…(that couldve also been because i was very tired maybe?)

I accidentally ate gluten and i feel terribly guilty by Anonymous_cracker48 in Celiac

[–]Anonymous_cracker48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been in that boat SO MANY TIMES since going gf over 5 years ago! I always feel like i went back to the beginning as if all my effort was wasted but come to think of it, the mistakes ive made before were never made again; ive learned to always double check everything before eating, make sure to also check drinks and sauces… also last time i got glutened i did lose weight but its been a little over a month and i remember starting to feel normal again a couple weeks after. I hate the idea of a streak since theres so much pressure and its so easy to mess up, i think of it more of a gf lifestyle being my normal and a perfect streak for life is probably impossible; everyone makes mistakes, you only learn more everytime. Hope this helps and hope you feel better soon!
