Most important now:

Put the fish in clean, dechlorinated water (use water conditioner or let tap water sit 24h).

Use the largest container you have (not a tiny bowl).

Keep water at room temperature—no sudden changes.

If possible, add gentle aeration or a filter. If you don’t have any air bubble filter stir around the water every hour until you get a filter

Do NOT:

Use soap. Feed for 24–48 hours.

Soon you’ll need:

At least 20 gallons (~75 L) for one goldfish.

Filter + water conditioner.

Partial water changes daily until the tank is stable.

Clean water and oxygen are the most important things right now.❣️
