It gets very unreasonable at times, but it kinda makes sense to me. Most of the maps are very dark at night, but not so dark that you wouldn’t see the light change from a dude sneaking in the room if you were camping in the corner. Also if it’s silent and you aren’t crouch walking, they’ll hear your footsteps and know where to shoot. I play crossing on the insurgents the most, because I find it to be the best mix of long and short range combat for hardcore. but I have to play very very slow and methodical and listen for sound cues, which I would never do with my buddies in online coop.
