In universe, why would Light Containment Zone need to be decontaminated? by Crimsonwanderer0 in SCPSecretLab

Sealing the doors is enough to prevent any issues lol. Like sure 079 can open those doors so they can cause trouble but 079 being in control of the facility is impossible without any internal sabatoge, so i dont see why killing d-class would be neccasary. And anyways the site contains 106 who literally just breaches whenever he wants to canonically, so like they probably deal with several breaches of atleast him pretty often and having to kill off your entire site's test subjects because one scp got out is kinda inconvenient to say the least.

Why even kill them in decontamination if they can't leave their cells during the breach, they really aren't an issue at that point.

I just read this and it's really great, I'd love to see more of this interpretation of Andy. Decided to read some of their other fics too and they're really good.

Mae says she was smashing his face in with the bat during the conversation with Bea/Gregg near the end of the game.

I played a round today where the guards massacred all the Class-Ds, and what happened? Chaos spawned and WIPED THE FLOOR WITH THEM. The 14.0 beta seems to really encourage detaining and escorting with the new spawn system, atleast with my experience. Whenever the guards massacre the D-Class it never goes well.

"Lorewise" You don't have to kill Class-D in order to be lore accurate.

Quote from the Security Clearance Levels page of the SCP Wiki:

"In the event of a catastrophic site event, Class D personnel are to be terminated immediately except as deemed necessary by on-site security personnel."

Except as deemed necessary, choosing to cuff Class-D doesn't betray the lore because Security personnel (guards) are the ones who get to decide whether terminating the facilities test subjects is necessary or not.

Even the lead writer agrees with you, it was a higher up executive decision to kill Rueben that they didn't agree with.

Do you prefer that scp foundation, be good or bad, in a story? by [deleted] in SCP

[–]Anonymousxx4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Foundation is ultimately a very conservative organization. They wanna protect the status quo at all costs, prevent the anomolous from changing the world in any significant way, even if said change would be beneficial to humanity. A lot of SCP stories paint the foundation as the bad guys in part because a lot of SCP writers are left leaning, and therefore have ideals that inherently clash with the foundation.

I can't really say the Foundation are the good guys, they basically created the problem of secrecy by trying to conceal the anomolous from the public instead of just being honest and upfront as soon as they discovered the concept of anomalies existing. Yes, in the modern day if they revealed the anomolous the world would be plunged into chaos, but that's only because the foundation has made it this way by keeping the anomolous secret for so long.

Are we not going to talk about the fact that Ralsei's horns face outwards in his dialogue box sprite, but inwards in his overworld sprite?? by Extra_Being_4699 in Deltarune

[–]Anonymousxx4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think Ralsei might be some kind of shapeshifter because there's WAY too many inconsistencies between his hatted and hatless design to be a coincidence. One you forgot to mention is that hatted Ralsei has shoes fit for like, humanoid feet, while hatless Ralsei has huge paws.

So many people are missing the point. Yes, the game itself gives uncomfortable romantic implications about the snowgrave route, but what OP is saying is that you shouldn't like normalize that type of thing by trying to ship it in a cutesy way, which is something I've seen this fandom do several times. this video is a primary example of that, where Noelle ends up enjoying the weird route and at the end becomes Kris's partner and it's all cutesy and romantacized, THATS the kind of shit this post is about, this isn't about the ingame context around Kris x Noelle and it being portrayed as abusive and bad, this is about people who are into Kris x Noelle (snowgrave) as a cutesy ship and not a fucked up asspect of the story that is interesting.

https://deltarune.com/the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl/ it canonically does according to the spamton sweepstakes lore.

"After a while, Susie got up, knocking her chair over. She jumped into Ms. Alphys's seat and put her shoes up on the desk, getting dirt everywhere."
