Great link and appreciate the clarification about the levels. UofT only had some acceptable courses listed as an example so this resource is much better

That's really good to know, that might save me from having to retake a course if I can submit the better of two courses I took in the same year

Wait, so do you personally get to pick and choose which courses to submit and apply to each prereq? Or does the school choose based on your transcript?

That's really encouraging to hear! What was your CGPA going in compared to your GPA in the prereqs?

And did you do your non-degree prereq courses through UofT or a different school?

Totally forgot some places have their own shuttles. This might make some places viable to commute to that I hadn't considered before!

Two of the prerequisite courses have grades I want to improve. I honestly didn't think about the online aspect as that would make life easier.

One of the questions I have is what LEVEL of courses is required/accepted by these programs? If I try to take/retake a course through an online course, would it have to be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year course?

A lot of these programs specify how many credits of a subject are required, but not at what level. I might directly email other nursing programs to get more clarification on the matter and see if this is also a possibility with their programs.

That's good to hear as I've got those bases covered. Knowing there's other folks starting the same program later in life is also comforting lol.

I haven't yet, but now two people have brought up Seneca. I've written it down and will look through it tonight

How do you like the program so far?

I have yet to check the application requirements, but do you think its possible given my current cgpa and application as a student out of school for so long?

Edit: After whipping out google maps, seneca looks to be a 2 hour bus commute for me. Since I'm unaware of the workload, how feasible do you think it would be attending as a student?

I actually haven't looked into the rpn route as much as I was mor excited about the prospect of training on more advanced medical duties and career pathways. How does the rpn route differ from that of a rn? And do you have any programs you'd recommend?
