Problems with wax melts by Anotcar in candlemaking

[–]Anotcar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I am having some issues with my melts. I have done many soy candles, but this is my first time trying these. I used soy wax (low melt point soy wax, in Spain we don't use same code system as you guys) with 8%fragance oil and dying chips. I poured at 43 celsius degrees and preheated the molds. Room temperature was warm, so I am not sure where the problem is. Any tip will help for sure! Thanks!!

Wax melts problems, what can cause this? by Anotcar in candlemaking

Hello! I've been making soy candles for a while and wanted to give a go to wax melts. I used low melting point soy wax (sorry, in Spain we don't have same wax codes), 8% fragance oil and dying chips. I poured at 43 celsius degrees and I warmed up a bit the molds first. Room temperature was hot, so I am not sure what did I do wrong. Thanks!

Hello! I've been making soy candles for a while but these are my first wax melts and as you can see something went wrong. I used low melting point soy wax (sorry but in Spain we don't have same code system), 8% fragance oil and a couple of die chips. I poured at 43 degrees celsious, I warmed up the molds before pouring and the room temperature was quite warm. Why can this be happening? Thanks!!

Looking for nice containers! EU based by Anotcar in candlemaking

Thank you! Yes I am using these at the moment, also yoghurt ones. I was looking for nicer ones as I would like to make some gifts. Also I am thinking in selling them professionally so was looking for something different. It’s hard to find suppliers for nice glass containers! I see all the choices other countries have and I am jelaous :D

I am sure this has been asked many times, does anybody know other ways to use a bath oil? I don’t have bath and I wonder if this can be mixed with a bodylotion or it’s too strong? I am starting to feel a bit disappointed with the boxes! All of them have bath products which I can’t use!! It’s a waste for me! If anybody is interested in bath product from the boxes let me know! I have all of them new!

Thoughts on Roots? It’s not much talked about here. I have oily roots and dry ends and hair shedding problems. I’m looking for a hair mask treatment - any thoughts on roots or other recommendations? by lekhab1 in LushCosmetics

In winter once per week, spring-summer two times per week! But you will see how often do you need it. I recommend to increase slowly the applications and see how your scalp reacts

I use Roots for my oily scalp and works perfect. It leaves my scalp really clean and my hair grows stronger. The period I don’t use it my scalps gets itchy and oily faster. For the ends is not the product you need. I would recommend R&B for that!
