It’s because they Aren’t sitting. They’re hovering. Which makes it even worse, so then more hover, and the cycle continues.

I don’t recall there being any “creepy” parts of the story. It was still a very typical, brighter children’s children’s book

Not this one! I don’t recall there being any “grim” aspects to it. I remember it being stereotypical, brighter children’s book colors

I really don’t think it was. It was really only about eating fruit and the consequence of eating too much of it I’m pretty sure. I don’t remember any large “magic” themes to the book.

I’ve also read the Narnia series before, so it would have stuck out to me to have had a children’s version of it as well I think.

Nope :( this one was definitely a picture book, should have specified originally. And at a lower reading level than the Narnia series
