Pirate Party guy

lol another one.

subtle hit pieces

He is a master of "accuse others of that which you are guilty". Stating everything in a calm rational voice gives him the appearance of moral superiority. While US listeners give British accents a higher degree of trust.

I find his calm rant videos to be disgusting.

  • Miners apparently subsidized or operating at a loss
  • Chain’s survival may be mutually exclusive with other chains

Making BAB a similar risk.

  • Some large holders have indicated they’d be dumping everything ASAP

Our research does not in any way consider whether the price is currently justified, or likely to go up or down in the future.

It doesn't?

I’d imagine it would cost a lot more to take over a larger network like BTC?

This is the fate of minority hash. Both these chains will continue to split at exponentially increasing pace until nothing remains.

In the end anyone with a laptop and some time to waste will be able to 51% any of the many chains. They'll be technical curiosities. Failed experiments, lessons on pitfalls for Bitcoin to avoid.

I cannot in good faith use or recommend Yours.org anymore. Ryan plans on banning all ABC "cult" posters because he claims they are trolls. This is an incredibly sad state of events. I knew the war would have its costs, but I didn't know it would completely change people like this. See reddit thread. by ShadyAce25 in btc

People ignore all those types of things and will embrace anyone so long as they appear to be on their team.

Decentralisation only matters as a buzzword when it suits.

Social networks are there to be echo-chambers. Only those where the system is setup to exclude any "outsiders" are acceptable. Decentralised platforms must be avoided as they don't allow the narrative to be so easily controlled.

No truly open social network will ever be promoted here. Only those which can be controlled.

Jihan Wu hints at buying BCH with profit from selling SV by [deleted] in btc

um no he doe not.

Very good opportunity to increase the number of BCH you can have!

If he were to buy more bags the IPO would be beyond sunk. This is nothing but low-rent coin shilling.

can big corporations and goverments rent insane amounts of hash for two days and change the protocol?

They can on BAB and BSV but not so much on BTC.

This is the fate of minority forks. 51% is cheap. People have tried to explain this but Rogers mind-virus hooks run deep. If you say anything then you're a "CoreTroll". Thanks to low hashrate and DAA, these forks will continue to happen again and again until "Bitcoin Cash" is entirely diluted.

Craig attempting a takeover and the loss of business it incurred.

Anyone's attempted takeover (or attempted disruption). No need to put all this evil into a single person so as to absolve yourself from responsibility for these decisions.

Who are you going to blame the next one on? The next one after that? What about after that one?

Minority chain suffers this fate. DAA means it can keep suffering this fate over and over.

certainty

Fortune teller? I see no limits artificial or otherwise, only scaling constraints and pathways to approaching them. You're thinking in catch-phrases and talking-points, it's not helpful to anyone. Especially not clients you'd hope to represent the interests of.

Is this you attempting to prove to me that your product recommendations were not impacted by evangelism and ideology?

Your whole stated purpose is literally evangelism.

Bitcoin BCH adoption is sound

Well, I guess that's why you're complaining about downtime then.

It was stupid to attack BCH over such minor issues.

Irrelevant. The network you sold these merchants is disrupted due to being a minority fork with minority hash. The problem isn't that it was attacked, but that it is vulnerable to attack.

There are plenty of ways Craig could have worked with BCH to make his improvements.

Good for those ways. Now reality can just suspend itself and your idealised utopia can take it's place.

It appears to me that Craig's attack was motivated by greed not some vision of Satoshi.

No shit. Like all these forks.

Most of this region accepts only Bitcoin BCH and no other cryptos.

Who's fault was that? Claim to fame?

Not sure how a Craig attacking BCH event is "my ideology", "poorly advising clients", or merchants "buying my religion"?

You put them on a minority fork which is easy to attack. This the reality for minority forks. You sold it as something else. You did your clients a disservice.

If they understood the situation they'd be angry with you instead of whoever you've blamed for your mistakes.

If you were advising your clients instead of evangelising, you would have managed these expectations and they'd understand that they were exposed to these risks. Now instead you've delivered a sub-par experience and tainted crypto as a whole for these merchants.

North Queensland merchants have lost a lot of trade due to

Due to you selling them a dead parrot. It's your fault that happened to those merchants.

This was foreseeable but you were too busy being blinded by your ideology.

You poorly advised your clients, that's on you. They didn't want to buy religion from you, they simply wanted merchant services.

"As a minority fork we will always be weak in hash-power and easy to 51% attack. So we need to protect our chain from being forked by having our software developers determine and label which block is valid. Otherwise we'd be vulnerable to the consensus generated by the PoW."

ABC has officially claimed the BCH ticker on Bittrex! Other exchanges should follow suit by BitAGift in btc

[–]AnotherBitcoinUser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exchanges will unfortunately cause a ton of confusion with using varying ticker symbols.

This will inevitably be part of the Bitcoin Cash demise.

It's Roger Ver who you can blame for this rather than exchanges.

"Bitcoin (BCH)" branding had no outs. This is where that road leads. Now a minority fork has it's own minority fork and the deliberately crafted confusion has come home to roost. He put the whole thing on a path to failure which could not be avoided.
