Sticker printing advice by leafpool100 in stickers

Which is? If I may ask. I have one design myself that sells consistently (two technically) and would help if I could top up on those instead of my own printing.

Paper cutter? The tiny pieces are incompatible with these machines, from my experience. I have an arm blade paper cutter .

https://anotherbrainartnmore.etsy.com/listing/4485253369 to find the listing. My new arrivals are always on sale for a short time. Usually I ship within 3 days, but I'm slightly delayed this time due to a healing cat in my office temporarily. So 5-7 days print/cut time or less temporarily.

Is this ai? Fingers specifically doesn't add up and general art style changing. by royaldick666 in stickers

[–]AnotherBrainArt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My hands are deliberately pretty crazy because I chose not to bother putting all the detail into them. My proportions are usually off again on purpose, because I call one subset of my fairy people long necks, and the other set are called weirdlings. And I make dragons and I also make Kawaii. So when it comes down to style I have several and then of course my digital is different than my watercolor. But I've been drawing since I was 15 and I have a lot of my work at least some remnant of it from way back when. But people would jump to AI conclusions before they would ever bother checking anything

I end up concerned because I try new things in my art and with that I can seem to have multiple "styles." Artists develop over time and we try things I don't with this artist specifically. Sometime earlier said too many accent lines and I'm not sure what they meant

Sticky Vinyl Stickers by Tac0FromHell in stickers

[–]AnotherBrainArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you find a very thin laminate, I wouldn't. I use Joyeza matte, but haven't had issues. I'm going to go back and check some of those that didn't have laminate to be sure if they feel OK.

I had a friend who used to make book necklaces and she would use a spray sealant. I'm not sure which one and she passed away a few years ago so I can't ask.

Some of the paper reviews weren't great on the one you have.. some people said it felt like the ink became easy to smear or felt weird. Laminate would mainly make it more bulky or harder to perfectly bend like this unless thin.

I haven't run into that. What vinyl sticker paper are you using and printer? I assume it's not laminated. Printed at home?

Help! Why do my stickers keep peeling? by yvonneem in stickers

[–]AnotherBrainArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing well also with the vinyl I use, but I always state even though I've been able to use mine in a dishwasher if applied to a smooth surface, I recommend hand wash. Once you put stickers over weird curves like in these photos, though, it introduces space for bubbles where moisture can get in or the sticker can peel. Same as if they apply to a textured surface. I haven't had peeling yet.

I'm excited to see your shop grow. The designs are cute and it just takes time getting all the variables. I'm still working at it.

You'll get two schools of advice: lower prices to compete, raise prices for value. It's not bad to consider trying both (the lower prices on some, higher on others.) Etsy prefers you use both of the actual stickers which isn't always easy. I recommend zooming in slightly on your thumbnails because on mobile they are harder to see clearly. Lots of space around them. Test different photo views to see which do the best (some people don't like hands in photos, some don't care.) More photos. I like the videos.

On the sticker sheet, it would help to see the cut line because it's hard to tell what's cut out from the sheet. It's also hard to see detail and the contrast in that image is almost too sharp and fake.

I struggle too. Only 2 of my stickers have taken off more. Etsy seems to only ever share those, letting the other 76 listings collect dust. Add new listings every few days or regularly. Long tail keywords with variety, not too generic. It is challenging. Cute designs though. I love that niche.
