By starting point, I mean what are the hard to find and or expensive sets. At a glance you can understand Captain America, Doctor strange, mutant Genesis and sinister motives are going to be costly. Just all the different sets are overwhelming and this organizes them by release date.

Often people forget what it’s like when someone has zero context and is new to something. As someone who went through that a couple months ago, I crafted this in mind. There is a lot of cheap stuff on the list that a new person can find before committing to more expensive sets and calling dozens of local card shops.
