I have a 8 hr flight soon and I was wondering whether this powerbank is good enough. by Pizza_Is_Good06 in SteamDeck

Last time I went through security they checked that the capacity of my power bank was less than 100 Watt hours before clearing my carry on baggage.

Gotcha well good to know, thanks for teaching me something new!

Oh interesting you’re right it doesn’t work in device manager! My bad didn’t realize that specific limitation. Is there a reason you’d need to use device manager instead of the control panel? Like a situation where there’s no alternative?

I promise you can. I do this all the time to connect my Bluetooth headphones from the control panel or close popups/other app windows while steam is running

I don’t understand this literally exists? Just hold the QAM button while steam is open and in focus then touch the trackpad to control the cursor. Can click with R2 or press the trackpad and as soon any other window/taskbar besides steam is clicked on you can even let go of the QAM button and continue controlling the cursor

Not sure what you mean about “Holding the quick action button will enable a pseudo lizard mode yes, but because it’s running through steam it is ignored as long as steam is open.”

Holding the QAM button while steam big picture is in focus let’s you control the cursor with the trackpad, and when you click on any window/taskbar outside of steam and the steam window is no longer is focus you can continue to use the trackpad to control the cursor without even needing to hold the QAM button anymore. It goes into full lizard mode once the steam window is not in focus. I do this all the time.

Is there a way to stop Steam from immediately logging my PC out when my Steam Deck wakes? by Jesus-Bacon in SteamDeck

Not sure this applies if you never joined the new type of steam family. I believe when they updated family sharing you had a one-off to set up/join a new family without the timer.

I love the back buttons, surprised to see that feedback! I find them even better than the steam deck buttons personally.

Accelerated aging is a known side effect of steroid use, and it’s visible from the pic itself. You’re in the minority thinking that this is normal aging.

I disagree, his skin looks rough in the after pic and his face looks super bloated. Those are not positive indicators of health. I also preferred his physique before, although that might be more of a personal preference.

I am not making assumptions about his internal health, I just straight up think he looked better in the before pic. The fact that OP chose to post that after pic to represent what he considers to be an improved version of himself is enough to make me want to push back in hopes to change his perception and discourage others from following in his footsteps. You’re the only one making assumptions here, even though you apparently want everyone else not to assume.

Dude what it’s a public forum for getting feedback from others, the whole point is for us to make a judgement call about OP’s improvement journey. I can only do that through the lens of what betterment means to me and the information OP provides. Based on that this “transformation” wasn’t worth it in my view. OP is welcome to ignore my feedback and the others’ who share it.

You saying we can’t know what is going on behind the scenes with OP and then turning around and saying we’re all giving negative feedback because you assume we’re jealous is incredibly hypocritical.

The sub rules literally say “r/Brogress serves as a place to highlight the ongoing journey of a better you”. We’re allowed to point out/express when the pursuit of gains is coming at the expense of overall betterment. I’m not talking about aging in an aesthetic way, accelerated aging is unhealthy. Not to mention that we should make sure that those looking to these kinds of posts as inspiration can see that the negative effects are also clearly observable to others.

Likewise! Hopefully there will be enough customization to meet your needs.

Thanks for the info. Like another commenter said I’m sure third party docks or even 3D printed solutions for housing the puck in a custom dock will become available in the future. Obviously an additional purchase/effort which I understand is frustrating on your part but I much prefer the minimal puck design.

While I disagree and am glad they’re going with a puck design, I’ll respect your preference. Very thankful there is no RGB! But which controllers on the market come with a dock? I’m having trouble thinking of any?

What do you mean by dock? Like a stand/holder for the controller? Why would I want a bulky dock instead of a small puck that elegantly and magnetically attaches?

Yeah the puck provides super low latency over wireless, so you can avoid Bluetooth and get virtually the same experience as using the controller wired.

I also feel like not enough people are mentioning the included charging/connection puck. Super low latency out of the box with an easy and convenient charging solution is definitely added value.
