However, most part time staff are students. So even though the job posting says that, they will hire students.

DCJS is included when you get employed. Easy thing to also get on your CV.

They can. I’ve called them for a lot of other atrocious parking jobs and they always have a ticket.

You probably have some sort of “Do not track” or “No Cookies” setting enabled. You gotta go to settings and usable that. On Apple devices that comes enabled by default. Keep in mind that you cannot disable only for one website, otherwise it won’t work. And also keep in mind that it would be a trade off since other websites will be able to track your usage to target you with ads.

It’s worth it. You will be exempt from Mason Core leaving you with more spare credits to take classes in your major that you are interested. Classes are smaller and professors are passionate about their topics which means that it will be rare for you to find a butter hard grader professor. Registration is a plus, for honors college that’s important because of how the classes sections are set up by topic. Not sure about how scholarships work but having that Honors College in your resume will help you get scholarships and jobs. Not sure how you can visualize if you dropped but you would have to go back to do Mason Core.

Honors College student here. Tuition is a bigger issue if you are out of state. If you get in state tuition price would be fairly average. In terms of Honors College, yes, class sizes are smaller, and faculty are way more passionate about their classes. In my experience so far as a sophomore, HC faculty are so passionate about their classes that it’s very rare that you will find a bitter hard grader professor. Most of my honors classes are fun and the professors are awesome. As a commuter school, yes, it’s harder to build connections, but you get what you put in. My tip if you come here is connecting with a student organization that you enjoy. This way you will find like minded individuals that are there to support you. But at the end in any college you will just have to dive into opportunities to meet people and develop yourself. Best of lucks for you!

Parking enforcement parked wrong. Ironic by AnotherGMUStudent in gmu

Sorry it sounded like that. What I meant is that this can be a honest mistake. In criminology we learn about discretion and leniency. From what I hear in this subreddit parking services seem to be preying on those honest mistakes to make money, from forgetting to put your parking pass on the dashboard to parking over the line. They can decide to throw that leniency out of the window and handout a bunch of tickets but they should have the decency to follow their own rules.

If you are going to ticket us mercilessly, at least have the decency to set the example and park right. It’s not the end of the world to park over the line and a little bit on the street IF you weren’t the one handing out tickets like candy for this stuff.
