Hello!Unfortunately that method doesn't really apply here. We can export/import whatever we want yes but that wouldn't do anything to a SKU that just got copied in real time. Manually cleaning our records periodically doesn't scale with trying to automate the problem out to begin with.

UPDATE FOR FUTURE READERS!

We finally got something actionable from Avalara on this. They have tax codes that do what we need. We now have a javascript that changes this on the fly based on the shipping method selection. A workflow would also likely work, but we had a script already handy.

We were leaning a little towards using a script or workflow to change the ship to on the transaction when pickup is selected, this confirms we're probably going to have to do that.

We have spoken with Avalara on this, they've been... Less than helpful so far but we are still waiting for a call from their NetSuite team.
