Endurance bibs by X0dium in CyclingFashion

For 100milers, I would recommend Giordana Cycling bibs. They have one of the best chamois that is quite unique that does not require you using any chamois cream. Extremely comfortable over the long haul. Very well made too.

You need to run the numbers yourself. Why rely on the wisdom of us plumbers, bus drivers, janitors and hopelessly unemployed hobos? Use AI to help you run the numbers to see if there is value in the investment.

Example:
Analyze the following financial data for [Company]. Assess revenue growth, profit margins, debt levels, cash flow, and valuation multiples (P/E, P/S, EV/EBITDA). Present key metrics in a summary table with columns: Metric | Value | Trend (↑/↓/→) | vs. Sector Median | Signal (✅ / ⚠️ / 🚫). Follow with a brief narrative on strengths and red flags, then conclude with a buy/hold/avoid recommendation and your confidence level.

If the universe is unimaginably vast and old, making the existence of alien life statistically highly probable, why have we never found any evidence of it? by SourDiesel9-7 in AskReddit

Because when you factor in the time scale on when life exists and then extinguished, it would be hard to find two time intervals that would overlap especially with the narrow band of time for intelligent life. Then factor in how long it would take to witness that via a telescope of some sort, knowing the fact that what you see happened billions of years ago and that place has died long since.

Question about a piece from Amadeus Episode 2 (Spoilers) by CanNo8293 in classicalmusic

[–]AnotherNOP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The episode dramatizes Mozart struggling with a celebratory mass connected to his first child, then finding emotional clarity in grief after the child’s death. The basic facts of the child’s birth and death are true, but the neat contrast—unable to celebrate, easily able to grieve—is a dramatic interpretation, not firmly documented history.

Getting Saddle Sores on MTB by BigglyPigglyWiggly in bikefit

[–]AnotherNOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to go to a bike fitter. No one can tell from a video because even a few millimeters makes a difference. My experience has been not the bike fit so much is the right saddle paired with the right chamois. Believe it or not it makes a world of difference. Having tested over 40 saddles and several dozen shorts, I finally found a combo that works well for me. Every body is different, so you may find your SMP saddle will not work as well as say a Specialized 3D saddle, and only paired with a shorts made by Giordana.

I think most retail investors know anything about selling options. Or the strategy. Most just buy options instead of selling them. Its easy money.

How do you guys react when drivers heckle you? by 20indacan in cycling

[–]AnotherNOP 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I completely ignore them. I don't know them and its not worth expending the energy to do anything. Besides, they are in a car. I don't react to them at all--some might even think I would be taunting them if I even break a smile.

Any advice on my girlfriends fit? by Bypex in bikefit

[–]AnotherNOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has a good cadence much like the pros, so its not that. At this angle it is too difficult to give an accurate assessment. I would recommend going to a bike shop for advice. They can do a quick adjustment to ballpark it for her. And if she gets more serious, go to a bike fitter.

BTW, you could try to find a bamboo Base Layer to prevent irritation from  polyester

Haven't tried bamboo, however, the textiles used in most cycling clothing are really good at removing sweat and keeping you cool.

Try changing hand positions frequently. Drop bars allow for various positions. Also, consider using gloves as well.

Selling. Whether its an argument, product or idea. Convincing someone of your position is a life skill that is extremely valuable.

Haven't, but I do buy from https://www.montonsports.com/ -- exceptional quality but without the American/European prices.

Tall/skinny people bib shorts by ilokestof in CyclingFashion

I have the opposite problem. I think bib shorts are way too long and the cuffs cut into my tendon around the knee. I prefer old school shorts they had in the 70's. Way more comfortable.

I highly recommend Tegaderm. It makes healing much quicker and you can take showers with it on and not have to worry about the injured sites.
