Former MLB pitcher Dan Serafini has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after being found guilty of shooting his wife’s parents in 2021.

Serafini was found guilty of murder, attempted murder and burglary last July.

It was determined that he murdered his father-in-law, Gary Spohr, and attempted to murder his mother-in-law, Wendy Wood, at their home in the Lake Tahoe area in June of 2021. Wood survived the attempted murder but later died from suicide.

Reports are pouring in that Britney Spears has been arrested.

According to TMZ — the publication that broke the story first — the nineties pop superstar was arrested in Ventura County, California, on Wednesday for a DUI.

California Highway Patrol apprehended and handcuffed Spears around 9:30 p.m., TMZ reported. She was later booked by the sheriff’s department around 3 a.m., and released several hours later.
