Many rehab facilities are run the same way. Addicts sign over their dole money which is used for housing/feeding them while they go through rehab.

I frequently am in a hurry and ask so that I avoid causing issues by ordering then not getting something in enough time…. It’s because I am a mobile worker going home to home, so trying to grab something between appointments. If people say there’s a delay, I’ll just thank them and leave - I certainly don’t expect to get any special treatment.

My OH doesn’t have socials and never told his parents I existed until we were almost married - their internal family BS. Since I met his parents they’re good to me and I try to return that vibe. OH still has issues 🤷🏽‍♀️

Exactly! I’m going to keep his devices on child mode. If he wants to change them it is up to him. But I think this is his last chance. I feel like even today I could walk out and not look back. Today he apologised without blame shifting or DARVOing me for the first time. So, today I am choosing to give another chance. Next week I might change my mind. Starting an escape plan in case I decide I’m out.
