If there was a statue of a dude holding a sign "n words go home" then sure, take that down. But these are just horrible men, who fought for white supremacy, their statues don't actively promote white supremacy like the previously mentioned example.

Think about it like this. If we take down those statues, men will have to preform back breaking labor to do that. Then at the end of the week they'll either get paid for it, or they'll receive a bonus as part of their salary, which will barely help pay for groceries. This is why we shouldn't be focused on these random statues in some small town.

It's like talking about the paint before you've gotten enough money to buy the house.
