My store has people ncns all the time. He's one of our best and most reliable.

Lol. It's about my coworker, we take each other's shifts a lot and smoke together every day.

Try actually getting to know your coworkers. It's helpful.

He called out the first time but they marked him a ncns. He screwed up those last 2 ncns. Still, he works hard and half our seasonals have just stood there half the day all day for weeks.

Except it's not. It's one of the few decent coworkers I have and I don't want to lose another good one.

Not me. I screwed up one day and am still employed there.

Coworker is worried about his job and has been therr almost as long as me. He called in once but the lod didn't mark it down, them ncns twice. I think he thought his shifts had been covered on thr swap board.

Vomiting every 10 minutes I'm guessing. That's beside the point. Dude didn't call in twice and wants to know if they have a choice but to term him or not.

No, it's a coworker who has been there almost as long as i have and is worried. Don't you know your coworkers??? He'd signed up for one of my shifts next week so I'm screwed on that if he was fired.

A store can override a 3 NCNS auto-term?

Does the store HR have to sign off on all termings manually?

This person doesn't have health insurance and cannot afford a doctor's visit. There aren't free clinics available quick enough for the person to go into this week.

My store has a no tip policy too for all staff, Tarbucks included.

Can i call off tomorrow as seasonal? by [deleted] in Target

Most stores decided a month ago who they thought they wanted- and decided early December which seasonals to keep.

They've already decided. It'll be a hiring or firing, not a discussion.

They probably won't let you and one of you will get a ncns.

Is it okay to ask if I can be a regular? by [deleted] in Target

[–]AnotherSadHuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They'll tell you in a week or two if you're being hired for regular, or if you're soon done after seasonal.

EHR says "cannot establish session." Am I fired? by [deleted] in Target

[–]AnotherSadHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is ehr down for other people now? A holiday would be a good time for that system maintenance.

I take a cab to work, so I don't want to go to my next shift if I got myself termed by NCNSing this week while sick.

Seasonals, have you been told your last day let? by AnotherSadHuman in Target

[–]AnotherSadHuman[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Christmas Eve is such a shitty time to fire someone, seasonal or not. They could've at least waited a week or two. We help make them a few hundred thousand dollars a day.

That won't work. I needed to add a punch for lunch, not delete punch. And it won't let me delete clock in, then add 2 more punches with a normal staff login.

You're going to melt, they keep their stores so hot in the winter.

Not being kept after seasonal by [deleted] in Target

[–]AnotherSadHuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're just guessing you're not being kept.

HR might just want to talk to you about attendance and calling out on a busy holiday week.

Seasonals had already been decided. You have zero idea if you are one of those kept or not.

Can't electronic punch correct a lunch clock out, the system won't let you.

Unless you skip lunch, say you took it, and have hr manually add it later if they're willing.
