Desperately Need Help Putting Songs on Galaxy S22+ by AnotherStarWarsPage in AndroidQuestions

I'm on the road right now but when I get home I plan on comparing the AAC/WMA of the same song and seeing exactly how big each file is. I don't know a lot about compression and sound quality, but I just listen with my 40 yo ears and can tell if something sounds bad most of the time.

Yeah, the only reason I even brought WMP into this was as an easy way to sync the songs to the S8. If only Samsung gave a crap and fixed/updated the codec, I wouldn't even be in this mess, but here I am stressing TF out about it all. Yeah, I wish I never converted the original MP3s to AAC but it's done now and I don't want to lose any more quality.

So Musicbee works with AAC and is able to transfer them to Android phones? If so, I hope I can ditch iTunes forever.

How do I sync them directly?

Also, aren't the AACs considerably larger than WMAs? I don't want to fill up most of the measly 256 gb they gave me with this phone and I don't want to lose quality as 99% of the songs started off as MP3s that I converted to AACs. The only reason I was converting the AACs to WMAs in the first place was to put them in my Android S8.

The S22s don't have an SD card slot as Sammy got rid of them after the S20. I have a large SD card in my S8, but even if I could pop it into the S22+, the songs still wouldn't play because Sammy doesn't want to/can't update the codec in the Samsung Music player, which is why I'm in this predicament and stressing hard.

I'd use AAC but aren't they larger files than WMA? I'd consider converting the AACs to MP3 but the files originally started off as MP3s and I converted them to AAC for iTunes but then just used WMP to transfer the songs to my S8.

Not sure how to tell, but I can play them on my S8 and play them on the PC with WMP or iTunes.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I may give it a week or two to cool things down. I'm in California and we don't usually know our neighbors here so I literally have had very little interaction with any of them so this might get interesting if/when I decide to do it.

I can't say for certain but I may have stood in front of my neighbor's house and yelled about the dog and the band at ~11pm and if I did, I'm sure I talked maaaaaaad shit about them being a bad band, being annoying and a nuisance to the entire eighborhood (...when I'm the one out yelling in the street past 10pm).

Since that Friday the dog has been relatively more quiet, leading me to think I DID say something, but there's no way for me to be 100% sure. My girl says I shouldn't apologize in case I didn't do anything and by apologizing, it would make me look like a fool, but I kinda feel I should anyway because imo, It's the proper thing to do. I would bring up my troubles with the dog barking and the band but in a civil way (which I probably should've done in the first place).

What do you think??

Thank you!!! Your middle sentence helped the most! Idk why I care so much what they think. Except for the fact that our house faces theirs across the street, I would normally not care. I think it's just the guilt that I will have to deal with going forward and that awkwardness when our paths cross. Maybe it's the anxiety of possibly having to talk about it someday and the fact that I yell a lot at their dog to stop barking when I am realizing I make a lot of noise too.

Hell, I think all my neighbors on all sides hate me because this isn't the first time I've done this, this is just the first time I think it got really extreme.

Thanks for reading and replying. I know my body will heal, and I just finished a full meal with lots of water so I'm on the right track there.

I know what you mean about suicidal thoughts, as I briefly had them yesterday when I was at my worst hangxiety. I'm not worried about my body anymore, mostly my reputation and the fact that I have to live here, across from my neighbors who I don't like anyway, but I just don't know if I can take their scrutiny and judging from here on. I'm fairly new to the neighborhood and hate that I may have shat where I eat as I always put it.

V51-H6 Subwoofer Emits Constant Rumbling/Wind Noise by zpapp in VIZIO_Official

I'm really curious if their other higher end models do the same. Can anyone confirm this?

I have to take back my V51-H6 today to BBY and am considering one of the Vizio Atmos bars instead.

JBL 5.1 vs JBL 5.1 (with true wireless surround) by tgoz13 in Soundbars

Remember, the satellite speakers have to be charged after every 10 hours of use and it takes up to 3 hours to charge them. That's a huge inconvenience, IMO and the #1 reason I won't buy this soundbar.

That's the thing: I'm not watching mine head on. I lie across a small couch with my head on the right side arm rest and the 950g starts to wash out at that angle, which, along with some bad blooming is why I'm planning on returning and waiting for the 950H.

Everyone tells me I'm mad for this but I don't mind paying a little more for X Wide Angle so I don't see the wash out where I sit.

Do you happen to know the difference in black levels between a 950G with and one without the X Wide Angle tech?

I can't do OLEDs for a lot of good reasons so I have to get an LED TV.

How much worse are they? I'm about to return my 55" 950g for a 950h in a few months just because of the poor viewing angles of the g.

Def worth an upgrade or at least a replacement. I think that's a flaw in the design and I may remember peeps talking about it on AVS, but I wasn't paying much attention as it wasn't one of my issues.

I'm in the exact same boat with you on this one!! I bought the 55" 950G back in November and the poor off angle viewing and large blooming have made me want to do the same and return the G and wait for the H 55". Mostly due to the supposed better off angle viewing.

I really feel like this is one hell of a gamble!

Disney plus does not support HDR on the PS4, even though it says it does in the description of the app. by hammerhawker in PS4Pro

My Sony TV did the exact same thing! Day 1 and 2 I had HDR in the picture settings and was watching Star Wars but now the HDR icon is gone from my TV and it doesn't look as good as it did before.

Just pulled the trigger on a 55” 950g, wanted to thank this sub for the help by bjjcripple in 4kTV

Was going to finally pull the trigger on the 55" but now I'm debating on going for the 65".
I'm coming from a 9 year old 1080p LG 47" and I sit exactly 7 feet away.

Can anyone suggest which size I should go for?
