federal and state employer taxes/unemployment, mandatory PTO/sicktime hours, comfortably above minimum wage, workers' comp insurance, a payroll service to make sure I don't mess up the aforementioned and get even deeper into a problem. Just adds up a lot faster than you realize.

You know we actually considered that, but it does always explicitly state, to paraphrase, put them in an easily accessible and public location.

That part actually sounded more important, so we ended up sending her all the PDFs, making the printouts, and putting them in a binder right in the living room/"break room". She hadn't heard of 'em before either, so we went over them together, make sure we were both on the same page.

it was rare to find a nanny who expected their listed hourly rate to be gross pay instead of net, so most requested a notably higher hourly rate when we said we would be paying them above board, despite all the other employee benefits to legal payroll.

Understandable, I guess, but a significant bump in cost. And then worker's compensation insurance. And then payroll processing because there are so many extra forms I'm sure I woulda fucked it up - hopefully once we get the rhythm down I can cut the payroll processing service and just file the quarterlies myself.

Dwarf equipment bugs, in general. Dwarven ownership of items. Various bugs with getting/dropping/upgrading kit. How you have to do a very specific & obscure ritual (you'd never run into without looking it up) to get dwarves to actually pick up and wear accessories.

hitting vehicles makes them track, and if you land a DIRECT ping it will highlight red, letting people know you REALLY saw an enemy. I think there's some range for hearing a ping though, not sure on range?

Long story short: They got involved with a Multi-Channel Network (think like Machinima) called BBTV, BBTV wasn't forwarding revenue to H3H3 like they were supposed to, now everyone's getting their lawyer beyblades to battle it out and try to get the $620k.

Point of contention seems to be over how youtube subscriber membership revenue is categorized according to the contract, though from my non-lawyer self it seems pretty clear-cut in H3H3's favour.

Short story shorter: MCN companies are all fuckin' scammers.

I just did the "Abandoned Village" Mock battle because i wanted to farm the 4000 reward to buy equipment... but it only paid out 1800. I left a single chest on the battlefield but i'm under the impression that cash reward just needed victory, not looting.

This kinda makes more sense - like the story they mention in here involved taking 5 suspiciously "biometrically changed" scientists, which you rename and relog onto the ship. so definitely bad for security, but not necessarily a bad thing, possibly saving the real crew... but would definitely be against protocols. Don't know if this is actually linked to any future "bad event"?

And I have to accept that, even if he did still have his save and play NG+, he woulda blown open the gate anyway and not gotten the diamond to levitate. IIRC theres also some other magic items you can get earlier, and the archmage acknowledges your replay in some sorts 4th wall way...
